Poochie update!
"Saving the life of one animal won't change the world but the world will certainly change for that one animal."
This is what can happen when some kind people with a heart for animals come together and don't give up on a tiny little soul that needs help. I'd say she is living her best life at this point watching bird videos on an iPad at her new home. 🤣 And, the vet thinks she'll be able to keep her leg!! ❤️🙂🐈‍⬛

The Pooch Place will be closing its doors permanently on December 30th 2022 at 6 pm. This was a very difficult decision that I have struggled with so much. It is however, the right decision. Unfortunately, that doesn't make it any easier. The last 3+ years have been an amazing experience. I have learned so much and met so many awesome doggos! And some really good people too. I want to thank each and every one of you for your support and understanding. I will be keeping our email [email protected] active for updates! (Please send doggo pics lol) If there is ever anything I may be able to do for your dog in the future such as walking, home check in visits, transport to groomer, even p**p scooping your yard, etc., please contact me. I'm not sure what I will do next but I'm almost certain it will be caring for dogs in some way, as that is where my heart is. ❤️ 🐕🐾 Thank you!!!

Poochie needs a permanent home!! She is doing great, standing all by herself and even taking a couple steps on her own. I do not have the means or a safe place for her to continue her healing for much longer. She is ready to be out of her crate and running around! Poochie would benefit from a calm, quiet home to continue her recovery. Any potential adopters need to be aware that she still may need a hip surgery in a few months, is on meds and will need regular vet visits. She is a super sweet, loving, chonky little purr machine! Please share and message if you can help. I have reached out to several rescues and have had zero luck. Please help me find her purrfect home! Thank you! 🐈‍⬛

!!Update!!
This fiesty little girl, now called Poochie 🤣, will be going to the vet today at 11:20. Thanks to an amazing, kind and generous soul who has offered to pay her vet bill!! ❤️ She is doing amazing so far and I will keep everyone updated!
This injured baby got dumped at our door on my break yesterday. It needs vet care asap and I am not financially able to do that. Does anyone know someone that can help?? I have emails in to several sanctuaries and have made calls this morning but no luck yet. ☹️

Did you know The Pooch Place has indoor/outdoor kennels?! This is a great perk for the dogs because it gives them more room and the ability to get fresh air even when it's their kennel time. It also allows them to watch other dogs in the yard and interact safely with dogs that are not in their play group!
