Happy Vet Tech Week!

Every day, we are so very thankful for the dedicated Veterinary Technicians at our clinic. They are constantly assisting with procedures, providing inpatient care, making sure your pets are feel safe and loved, and a thousand other tasks that are absolutely necessary to keeping the clinic running smoothly and ensuring that your pets receive the best care. Also, they do their best to keep the doctors in line (sometimes a difficult task, to say the least!) 😉

These ladies are far more than anesthetists, phlebotomists, radiology technicians, surgical technicians, laboratory technicians, and pharmacy technicians. They are absolutely ESSENTIAL to the everyday operations of the clinic, and they do a fantastic job! Please take a moment to appreciate the Vet Techs working with your pets and livestock!

LABOR DAY CLOSURE: just a reminder that the office will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of the Labor Day holiday. We'll be open regular hours on Saturday, August 31st as well as Tuesday, September 3rd.

CLINIC HOURS CHANGE FOR FAIR WEEK: We hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy the Lawrence County Fair this week, going on now through Saturday, August 17th. Since several of our doctors and staff also have fair projects and responsibilities, the AGVC clinic schedule has been amended for this week.

Please note our shortened hours this week:
Weds 8/14: 8:00a - 4:00p (early close)
Thurs 8/15: 8:00a - 4:00p (early close)
Fri 8/16: 8:00a - 12:00p (no change)
Sat 8/17: CLOSED

EDIT: POWER RESTORED! As of 10pm Tuesday, we've got power!

POWER OUTAGE 6/18/24: Due to the recent severe storm, the clinic is currently without power. We currently are unable to return any calls as our phones are down as well. Surgeries have been cancelled for Wednesday 6/19 but we will still be able to see scheduled appointments barring any additional complications. An update will be posted as soon as power is restored, but we do not yet have an idea as to when that may be.

Apple Grove now offers dental x-rays! Some of the most important issues in your pet's mouth are below the surface and only visible on x-rays. We are so excited to be able to offer this service to our furry patients!

As National Pet Dental Health Month wraps up, here's a reminder to keep your best friend healthy - give the office a call to schedule a dental exam for your pet!

Christmas will be here before we know it! Please note that we will be closed on Christmas Day (Monday 12/25) and New Year's Day (Monday, 1/1). We will reopen for our normal business hours the Tuesday after each holiday.

Please remember to make sure you're stocked up on your pet's important medications for the holiday season!
