TSQHA Summer Celebration show a wonderful weekend.
We had some big entry numbers with 19 in Level 1 AM SMS and 22 in Leve 1 Youth SMS. Leadline with 7awesome little riders.
Also, it was great to see our Ranch Horse friends back.
Enjoyed family and friend together time with an Exhibitor Appreciation Dinner sponsored by TSQHA and prepared by Reichhold Cafe.
Then some fun youth fund raiser evenings games of egg spoon and cake/cookie walk. Great job Marsha Tetrick organizing the event.

Tri-State Quarter Horse Association at Penn State’s 22nd Annual Equine Science Showcase and Quarter Horse Sale.
A great big Thank you to everyone’s help this weekend. The new flooring in the office and bathrooms look fantastic! The bathrooms are sparkling, all the office furniture moved back in and the office looks amazing. All the sticks and leaves have been picked up and ring B fence has been power washed in preparation for a fresh coat of paint.
Clean Up Days this Saturday & Sunday starting at 9am! Fence scrapping, stick pickup and landscaping are on the agenda. Any time you can give is greatly appreciated. Bring your hoses, power washers, buckets, gloves and rakes.
Just a reminder! Approved TSQHA shows for year-end awards are PQHA, WPQHA and The Grange. With shows starting up very soon, be sure to have your Tri-State memberships and horse nominations in for year-end award eligibility.

Clean-up day at the show grounds. It was a bit chilly but when we all worked it got quite toasty. The office is all cleaned out and ready for a new floor. Leaves in the main arena and the warm-up side arena are removed. Some sticks and branches have been picked up but there are still plenty to pick up, so we have something to do next week. Lily Lehman, Addison Linsley, Caroline Markulis and Brittany Lehman were on the leaves detail. They did a fine job! Jeff and Gary were the moving men, cleaning the furniture out of the office.

Tri State Quarter Horse Association - Your showbills are now posted to our website. The Stall/RV Form for the June Show is also posted to our website. The Forms for August and September will be posted closer to show dates (this avoids groups forgetting that they have stalls reserved - has happened in the past) we appreciate your understanding.
Clean up day is this Saturday! Leaves & stick pickup, office cleanup and fence scraping are on the to-do list.
We are looking for stall cleaners for 2024. As we all know, cleaning stalls is a lot of work. Not only do we have our shows we also have Ranch Riders, Mounted Shooting, PAHA and 4-h shows held at our show grounds. A total of 16 weeks.
TSQHA pays $7/stall. This is a great fundraising opportunity if you have a group who would like to earn some cash. We appreciate any help you can provide. Each slot has the dates of when you can start cleaning and when the stalls will need to be finished. It's very important stalls are done by the date listed, another event will begin the next day. I made 1 spot available as a default, you can have as many people as you want to clean. The payment is per stall not per person.

Our first clean up day is Saturday, March 23rd starting at 9am. We appreciate any help, just show up when you can, even if its just an hour or several hours. On the agenda is: leaves and stick pick up, deep cleaning of office and bathrooms, and prepping the arena fences for a face lift. Bring your rakes, gloves, leaf blowers, scrapers and/or powerwashers and hoses. We have beautiful grounds because we have amazing volunteers like you. We hope to see you then. If you can't make this cleanup day, we have scheduled April 6, 13 and 14 as well. We will have lots of painting, planting, upgrading and beautification needing done.

The youth held a Pie-In-The-Trainers-Face contest! The trainers had to bid the most money to NOT get a pie in the face. Thank you to our gracious trainers, Nikki Bailey, Seth Clark, Patti Spect, Jeff Prescott and Jesse Jerick. Thank you to everyone who donated to help give immunity to one of the trainers. $646 was raised for our youth and Seth Clark won the immunity (lucky man). #tsqha #tsqha
