"By 18 months, babies have heard 4,380 hours of spoken language and we don't expect them to be fluent yet 👶

If AAC learners only see symbols modeled for communication twice weekly for 20-30 minutes, it will take 84 years for them to have the same exposure to aided language as an 18 month old has to spoken language"📱🤯

Looking for a Unicorn therapy horse! 🦄

⭐Opening⭐ We are ISO a unicorn 🦄 or two to be shared with our program. We have up to 2️⃣ spaces available for horses to be free leased to Rein Dancer. Owners are still able to ride their horse 1x/week and schedule visits any time. References are also available. We provide free full care and appropriately integrate your horse into our program. Horses are guaranteed to live a semi-retired lifestyle being doted over and loved on by our crew of barn kids and professional staff 💖. We also have the option of clients interested in leasing in order to keep horses wanting a full time job in more work, if needed. We are specifically looking for:
🔸️ A seasoned western pleasure horse; confident walk/jog/lope with beginner riders, large enough to carry an adult
🔸️A hunter-type horse confident to walk/trot/canter and take intermediate youth riders through small courses
We are open to all ages and breeds. Horses must be able to come on site for a 2 week trial. PM us or give us a call for more information!

With being tomorrow, we are asking for your support.

Many may not know the behind the scenes, but Rein Dancer runs on a small handful of dedicated individuals with a passion for helping horses heal people. Rein Dancer has a few part time employees, and every single one of these individuals donates a tremendous amount of their time to make this non-profit organization a full time priority. We work tirelessly to hold space for building confidence and bringing healing to those who need it most.

Due to the Covid-19 shutdown and ripple effect thereafter, our program has taken a huge financial hit. We currently operate paycheck to paycheck and survive solely based on the generosity of a few people.

Being a small non-profit trying to stay afloat in the midst of a pandemic and difficult economic times, Rein Dancer is ever-evolving to meet the current demands and provide a peaceful environment for horses to help people. We want nothing more than to see our clients progress, and help our students reach their equestrian goals and dreams... and we need your support to continue to do the work that we do.

This , please consider making a secure donation via our fundraising website:

 https://secure.qgiv.com/for/rdtrc

(We are having difficulty tracking donations made via Facebook- rest assured we receive these donations- we just can't always see where they come from and we want to be able to thank you. If you'd like to donate via Facebook, feel free- it may just be anonymous.)

Whether it’s a one-time or monthly tax-deductible financial donation, 100% of the donations made to Rein Dancer go directly to the program and allow us to continue to do what we do every day.

We are so thankful this holiday season for the dedication and generosity of all of the supporters of Rein Dancer, new and old. Your kindness reaches further than you’ll ever know. Happy , friends ❤

⭐ Donate your resources. We are a small non-profit trying to stay afloat in the midst of a pandemic and difficult economic times. With everything happening in this country, I think it’s important to make this statement. Black lives matter. Black students matter. Black hopes, dreams, wishes, and futures matter. I am a speech therapist and I believe that right now we need to listen to the voices of the black people in our lives and remember how important they are.

Keep improving your riding skills, even if you can't go to the barn right now!

Keep improving your riding skills, even if you can't go to the barn right now!

Hi Everyone! I know it's a challenging time for so many of you. I know, because I chat with many of you on a regular basis. Some of you are dealing with being sick or caring for others who are sick. Some of you are worried and anxious. Some of you are frustrated because you are on Lockdown and can't ride your horse. Some of you are going stir-crazy.

I can't make all of that go away. But I do have something for you.

We are starting a new 5-Part Series on Monday called, "5 Ways to Improve Your Riding (even when you can’t ride)". We are going to talk with Catherine McCrum about things you can do OFF of the horse to improve your time ON the horse. So if you are unable to ride right now for reasons of Lockdown/Quarantine, safety, or any other reason... or even if you ARE able to ride but you would like to use the extra time you have right now to focus on improving your seat and your riding... we hope this series will help.

This 5-part series is part of our introduction to Part 2 of our Aware Rider Program which begins April 6th. In each of these trainings, you will come away with something that you can put to use right away. Join us!!!

Meet us on the Ritter Dressage page every day this week for a new topic to inspire and motivate you right now.

The schedule is below. Click on the event links to find out the time in your timezone.

Yes, these will all be recorded. To get the replays sent to your email, click here: https://ritterdressage.activehosted.com/f/47
