Rio is a 12 yr old TB looking for someone to half lease him. He loves to work and jump. He has been a beginner jumper lesson horse in the past. He's a super sweet boy.

He has had some time off, so we are currently working on getting him back into shape. We are working on walk, trot and slowly moving up from there.

He will need a strong intermediate - experienced rider.

Half lease is:
$300 month
Leasee will need to take two lessons a month from our facility instructor Whitney who is an upper level Dressage and eventing instructor.

One of our lovely students Suzanne had a very bad fall in 2016. She came to us and asked if we had any horses that will help her regain her confidence. We said absolutely!

Meet Bronson one of our rescues. He is a Dutch Harness horse and is absolutely the best mannered boy to help you regain your confidence.

Today, Suzanne went even bigger and hopped on our super great, absolutely kind Percheron Apollo. Suzanne did wonderful with him today! It's so great to see you feeling confident again and loving our boys at the farm 💜

All lessons at NFEC are cancelled for today. The air quality is horrible. All horses will be inside with fans on. Boarders/Exercise riders/Trainers/Instructors please reschedule riding/working/lessons until air quality gets improves.

Our facility is fortunate enough to have a Magnawave PEMF Therapy machine. We are teaching boarders how to use the machine so they can sign it out and use it when they would like to work on their horse :)

We are currently working on clearing out 3 stalls we have been using for storage and moving some of our lesson horses over to use them. This will open up 3 stalls for boarding!

Full board is $600 a month.

Fee is $100/45 minutes

About Jennifer:

Jenn has been riding dressage for close to 30 years and teaching for more than 24 years. She came up through Pa 4-H and has dabbled in other horse sports as well: driving Percherons, hunters, eventing, appaloosa circuit, reining, and western pleasure, but dressage always calls her back.

She has been training with JJ Tate since 2008 and has audited JJ's mentor Charles de Kunffy extensively. Through JJ, she met Richard Malmgren and has been learning the art of Long Lining for several years, being one of Richard's few students.

After seeing and feeling the changes long lining has made in her own horses, Jenn loves to share this clear training with others.

Long Lining helps the horse find straightness, build strength, work on posture, and bring awareness to the rider. Jenn talks about what she is seeing and feeling at the time, however, understand this is not a lesson in Long Lining.

For this clinic, horses must be started under saddle, be at least three years old, lunge well, and accept the bit. They need their normal headstall with snaffle bit (no leverage), saddle pad, and if they wear leg protection that's ok, too.

Amber making kids happy every ride! This little girl absolutely loved her first ride on Amber!

Such a spectacular pony to teach new riders! Reese walked, trotted and then on her own went around the pole bending poles and over the ground poles all by herself. Such a natural! Way to ride Reese and way to take care of your student Amber!

We welcomed a new senior horse to our farm yesterday. He spent his first day in his new pasture with the other wonderful senior horses. This morning he galloped through the field to see his pasture buddies 💜 such a good old boy! He is turning 30 in June!

I'm looking for some assistance with PM feeding. I do have more work available as well. I have two stalls open at the moment and am willing to swap work in exchange for board or riding lessons from one of our instructors etc. Or this could be a paid position as well.

Horse experience is definitely a must as you will be handling horses.

Hi All,

As the temps get higher, we will be switching horses over to PM turn out. I'm looking for someone to work nice cool PM hours in our beautiful, breezy, comfy barns.
Duties will include:

Clean/Pick Stalls
Fill hay bags/set hay in stalls for AM feed
Blow aisle
Dump water buckets and clean when necessary no need to fill as we will do it before they come in for breakfast.

It's set up very well, organized and simplified.

This will be a paid position.

Should take about 3 hours a night depending on your experience. We have some mini's so their stalls are super fast and easy to clean.

You won't need to handle horses.

Hi All,

I'm looking for PM feeding help. Also, when it's time to switch over to day time stalling horses due to the heat I will need someone to do stalls in the evening. Stalls are easy, work is simple and organized. It's a very laid back atmosphere, we have absolutely wonderful boarders and horses here at NFEC. I have a couple stalls available in exchange for work.

Stall availability!

Hi All, we now have 3 open stalls available for full board and for a great reason!

Today, we finished fixing up a few things around the large run in shelter and decided it was time to move the three TBs over to it. They have been grazing on a smaller pasture then we moved them to a bigger one for a few weeks and today they are galloping, grazing and playing in their new even bigger field. It was absolutely beautiful watching them run free!

We have 3) 14x15 stalls open now.
Full board is $600 month.

The progress my team, the owner and I have made with these three horses is so heartwarming. Intake at our farm for these three was January 2023.

The first two pictures are of them enjoying the sun today with no blankets on getting plump slowly and carefully. It's also amazing how much more comfortable they are.

When they came in they were in so much starvation pain I honestly didn't know if one was going to make it and another was going to ever be sound as he limped and struggled to walk out to pasture.

But now they are all happy galloping having a grand old time in their pasture, feeling so good and no pain.

I love my team and all the support we get from our boarders, vets and farriers.
