The “Un-Kennel”
Top Dog Country Club was the first vacation club for dogs of its kind . . . gaining international attention and setting a new standard for caring for dogs when their owners travel. Jean Stelten-Beuning, Top Dog Country Club’s creator, owner and operator was a former VP with Marriott Lodging, and in 2000, forever changed dog boarding. In its 20th year, Top Dog is still a one-of-a-kind place. “It’s All About The Dogs . . . They are the #1 criteria in every decision we make. We spend 15+ hours each day with our guests, 5-6 hours of adult supervised group play and a ratio of 1 staff to every 5-8 dogs in the facility on any given day. Staff includes vet techs, groomers, trainers and other adults that are very passionate about dogs. The facility is on 39 acres and has 24,000 sq ft of outdoor play on k9 grass with a 34 ft heated swimming pool open April - mid November.
