Our Story
Rutgers Creek Pet Resort sits on 30 acres of land in Orange County, NY. It is a family owned and operated boarding facility led by Steven James who has more then 20 years of Pet Boarding experience. He understand the important role pets play in our lives. When your pet stays at our boarding facility they are treated like a member of our family.
Our pet resort has 29 kennels. The Kennels are spacious enough so multiple dogs can stay together. We charge $37.50 per day for one dog in its own kennel; for two dogs in the same kennel it is $65 per day. There is an additional $32.50 per dog after the first two dogs when they are ALL in the same kennel. Every day is a chargeable day. Cash or Check only.
All dogs MUST have a current Rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine. Additionally, all dogs need to have proof of a negative f***l sample within 1 year of boarding. Please be sure to bring a certificate from your Veterinarian so we can keep it on file, this must be updated on an annual basis.
All dogs must be people friendly. If your dog is friendly with other dogs we can socialize your dog with other dogs during their stay. Owners may bring their own dog food, but it must be individually packaged per feeding with the pet's name on it. If you prefer, your dog can be fed the kennel food, which is usually either Purina or Pedigree. Beds and toys are also welcome. You are always welcome to come see our facility during business hours of 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM -6:00 PM daily.
