Part 2 of 2
Fiddler-
The sale pony reject that became the staple of children’s learning here at Greystone. She was never leased out of this farm and lived on our property for her 15 years under our ownership. Starting as a stunning top of the line small with a motor, grit, and a knack for not caring about anyone but herself and what she wanted, she ended as the kindest and safest mount we had. She used to be banned from relay races due to a flare for the dramatics and sending kids flying to win that race, but boy did she teach those kids how to ride! As she got older, she got wiser and realized if she was good for the littles, she never had to do much work again and the next phase of her life began. She started so many of our young riders and made them the confident kids they are today. She shuffled her feet, cantered quietly, and let the kids pop over their first jumps without a fuss.
We are forever grateful to these incredible ladies for starting so many horsemen and women and setting the next generation up for success! Thank you to you both and enjoy all the mints, carrots, apples, etc you can for us!
