Please help us we need a foster!
This gorgeous girl we are calling “Moxie” was recently found as a stray on Butler St. in Torrington. A kind person got her to safety after she spent months outside fending for herself. She is SO friendly! She is now healthy and fully vetted! She needs a foster or adopter 🙏🏻♥️🐾🐈‍⬛

Hello, I’m a bat. I don’t drink blood, and I’m not trying to get tangled in your hair.

If I accidentally fly into your home, please don’t strike me with sticks or brooms—it hurts, and I’m already frightened.
I never meant to scare you. If I land, I might not be able to take off again without your help.

Gently use a towel to guide me outside, and I’ll fly away at once. I help by eating mosquitoes and many other insects.
But our roosts are disappearing as forests and old buildings are torn down, leaving us with fewer places to live.

So if one of us enters your house, just switch off the lights inside, turn on a light outside, and open a door.

I’ll find my way out quickly. Please show kindness—I want to live too.

It's raining MOMS and KITTENS!! We just spent 2 days trapping a mom and 3 kittens living outside in Torrington. We have two other moms and babies and we will be taking in 6 more kittens tonight that have been trapped with more to be trapped in Torrington! For a total of 15 kittens and moms to feed!!! 😩
