Well, I waited until today, my birthday to kinda double up on my gratefulness! As of January 1st of this year I have owned Wash and Wag Pet Grooming for ten years. A decade of amazing and some interesting memories lol! It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you all and this westville community for so many years and I hope to continue to do so for another ten+! I am very lucky in this time of many struggles to manage my successes and I owe that to all of you! Thank you for continuing to patron the wag, trust me with you family members that mean so much to you and sharing it with your family and friends! Thank you to my staff, present and past that have contributed to the joy! I’m nothing without you! May we all have more success health and love for years to come! Well another shark week has come to an end, so let us welcome the rest of this weeks sharks to the hall of shark fame! We had a lot of fun swimming amongst these creatures! First we have the elusive shadow shark! She hides among the coral and all you see is those bright eyes just before she…kisses you…extensively! Next we have Bill the bull shark. He is a boisterous species and is actually quite playful despite the sharks reputation for danger! He also is the only species who has a floating fin, he can maneuver his fin to his head to distract his prey. His friend and next on the list is Ted the Yorkshire Shark. Originally from the English Channel, he migrated out into the Atlantic teaming up with bill to maximize his survival. But don’t be fooled, as you can see he will viciously nibble your fingers in search for snacks. 😏 and finally we have the mocha-choca-latte shark. She’s a queen, and honestly, I think that face speaks for itself! Well waggers, until next year, keep your fins up! ✌️🦈 🐾

Well waggers, it’s no secret we’ve been on a bit of a social media hiatus, it’s just been so busy, and we couldn’t be more grateful!!! Sometimes I’m just not the best at keeping up with the sharing when I’m buried in all the love! But you KNOW we would NEVER miss a Shark Week!!!! So our first installment features papa shark, he was actually the inspiration for the stranger things character and is 182 years old! Don’t be afraid though, he has no teeth left! Next we have the powder puff shark, hes actually a shark pup, and he loves fresh tuna, soft jazz and his mothers loving eyes that never close. Powder puff is followed by savvy shark. His ears are top notch in the sonar department and he loves a “blood” orange smoothie 😉 And last is the petrified naked shark. She’s super smooth and soft but she is terrified of her own reflection. They often can be weighed down by their oversized fin. Stay tuned for the rest of the sharks that come by this week! 🦈 🐾

Looking for a dog bather, Tuesday- Saturdays, Hours are 8:30-3pm though may fluctuate slightly with scheduling of dogs. Lots of fun, positive environment, but hard work! Must be comfortable with handling animals! Wages based on experience and performance.

Well what an exciting shark week it was! I am so proud of all our finned friends! Rounding out the week starts with Millie the schnauzer shark! These guys have laser focus and super smarts, and how can you resist those sweet Millie kisses! Next is Cody the marshmallow shark! I dare one person to tell me they can resist that face! One of the cutest of the shark breeds, they use the smoosh face to lure your close and than SMACK, smooches. After that it’s the gizmo shark! Gizmos really come alive at night, and they have ears for days, they graze when they eat so they really like snacks! We managed to get our hands on another elusive feline shark….she said she’s too good for interviews… 😳😬 the yorkie sharks are a stout bunch and they really have a lot of pep! Probably the best with people, they like to party and they like friends. Finally, a fan favorite and not an easy one to find, the coco puff shark! She is adorable and super savvy! They really rule the waters and honestly, how can you not fall in love with that beard puff snout! Well everyone, until next year! We love you and thank you for taking part in all the fun! Shark week is always one of the best times of year!

Ladies and gentlemen the sharks are rolling in! And first thing in the morning they roll in slow, which is why we start with sleepy shark! A rare feline shark breed, they often are very independent and rely on naps to have the strength to hunt their prey, victims include but not exclusive to, balls of yarn, cat nip filled stuffies and jingle balls! Next we have Sophie shark! Sophie sharks are extremely gentle and oddly enough make great pets! She just asks you keep the bathtub ready for the occasional swim! Third on the list is shandy shark! You can spot a shandy shark by the distinctive rust color and the undersized fin…😳😬 also great with other sharks. And lastly we have the feisty rebel shark! Watch these slippery suckers, they are quick and smart! But they also love the camera, see this one striking a pose! 🥰 Tune in tomorrow for the rest of our sharks!!!

THIS little nugget, is Tommy Boy, our dear friend Carla Birmingham’s new addition! And he wants to let you know…… ITS SHARK WEEEEEEEEEEKKK 🦈 stay tuned tomorrow for our first half of the weeks shark team, followed by the second team of sharks on Saturday! Every year the sharks come from all around to be a part of the wag’s shark party!! Happy sharking!
