It’s been a busy semester at the Yale Farm! As we’ve carefully ventured back into in-person programming, it’s been a joy to see students connecting with plants, land, and each other on the Farm again.

We’re so grateful for our amazing team of student staff and everyone who turned out for our workdays and events this fall.

Photos by Reese Neal ’25. Pictured events include a Farm workday/knead 2 know; an afternoon on the farm with Yale’s cultural centers; Fall Feast: Celebrating Indigenous Food Pathways; Moonlight Stories on the Farm; and Loll-apple-ooza, our annual cider-pressing event.

Photo Credit to YSFP Creative Visual Lead, Noa Hines '21. In this Knead 2 Know, Alex Munoz, a Greenberg World Fellow, discussed Salmon Farming in Chile. He explained that salmon farming is like spending on credit: there are benefits now, but at some point we will need to pay. He declared, "it is time we rip the credit card and start eating wild food." Gabrielle Barnes sang and played the guitar.
