We received a call from a good friend in Marion county needing a little assistance this evening, deer was hit high across the back, Billy and Ann swam a few laps around a 2 acre pond to finally seal the deal. Ol buddy got to do a bit of swimming as well while retrieving his wife’s nice 10pt.

Good buddy called needing a little assistance his 8yr old son John had taken a shot at a nice spike, they found a bit of hair at the hit site. We turned out and it didn’t take long before the crew had this deer held hostage on a creek bank!

Took the young pup Dolly this morning on another solo track, based on the sign found at the crime scene we decided to give this one a few hours before letting her try it. Once she was on the ground it didn’t take her long and she was on point! This young pup is showing a lot of promise in the tracking world!

Good buddy connected with one this morning, we decided to let the deer lay for a bit while we covered another track as the plan was to run young Dolly solo on it. Dolly lined the track out and when she hit about the 300yd mark I made the decision to send in Billy and Ann as I felt this one was going to need a little persuasion in the end. 2.6mile later the pups had convinced this one to follow us out of the woods!

We took a call for Frog today over around bassfield. Mrs Barbara Bates Craft had taken a shot at her very first deer with a 20ga/buckshot. We found a little hair at the shot site. The pups lined out and was able to convince her first deer into following us out of the woods.

Hunter Turner called me this morning, he had hit a nice buck that dropped and then got up and took off. We got the crew on the scene as fast as we could on this one since it was a potential back wack. At about the 450yd mark Billy, Ann, and Dolly had this 12pt bayed up tight enough for a few photos!

Took a call for Frog down in Tilton area, deer was shot with a load of 00B before the last wave of storms came thru. I made contact with Hunter and he was happy enough to let the rain pass before we turned out. Once we were on scene Billy and Ann got to work and didn’t take but just a minute to located this nice deer.
