Lately we've been trying to give people a view behind the scenes of what it takes to grow our mushrooms. Not everything is as fun and exciting as talking to our customers at the market, or showing off our kits on the news! Most days we're doing things like folding 500 boxes, cleaning grow rooms and coolers, unloading fruiting blocks from the autoclave or disenfecting the lab...and every day our team shows up to make it happen!

Did you know we have our own spa at R&R Cultivation?! When we open our 40ft autoclave, temperature and humidity in this room become nearly identical to that of a wet sauna. 🥵 Because of this, the room is prefiltered and has multiple A/C units and fans designed to cool down not only the 900 fruiting blocks coming out of the autoclave but our people too!

Shoutout to our crew who works in the hot-unload room to make sure our mushrooms keep growing, you guys are absolute rockstars! 🤘

Cleaning out the grow rooms from this week's harvest. ♻

We fill up a 20 yard dumpster....three times a week! The spent blocks get hauled off to be turned into mushroom compost by a local topsoil company and redistributed to grow other crops! 🍄->🌽
