Time for some good news (and numbers) 👀

As some of you may know, we launched an online fundraiser last year and found a generous donor who agreed to match donations dollar for dollar until we reached our goal. Following this, proposed to organise a fundraiser, that took place on March 22, to help us reach it. We are thrilled to announce that thanks to this event, we finally met our goal (and even exceeded it) and were able to raise $3,600 for our animals (€2,100 from the Hilltop fundraiser, which put us over goal, and the remaining $1,500 were eligible for the match)😍👏🏼

We’ve also received a lot of new contacts and requests to volunteer or visit our B&B, which we highly appreciate 🙏🏼

Thank you so much to all our donors, sponsors and attendees for their generosity, and to our volunteers and the team from Hilltop for their hard work ❤️

We dedicated this fundraiser to our beloved late Moonbeam (see the photo), who was the inspiration for the limited edition mango cider that was presented at the event, and that you can still buy at Hilltop Orchards or through us🐰🥭

Our animals are our first inspiration and muses! certainly knew that when she came up with these beautiful designs for the yummy food kits that our friend, Emily Perryman, created. Derick and Sango are certainly honored to be superstars 🐐🐂

Thank you Emily for putting in lots of work to make these delicious, quick, and easy food kits for us, and thank you Andrea for your talent, imagination and dedication ❤️

Today is International Rescue Cat Day 🐱
We’re happy to share these shots of some of our own rescued kittens: Ahimsa and Samy chilling in our living room (and Ahimsa plotting his next fiery scheme 🔥), and Rainbow who decided she would live outside with the pigs.
We love our little furry friends so much ❤️
