Are you ready to train your new best friend? We’re excited to offer a six-week group session for puppies aged 12 weeks to 8 months. We offer classes for all ages to , if you have an older dog & want more information please contact us. ✔️

- **Thanksgiving Break:** No classes from November 25, 2024 to December 1, 2024
- **Christmas Break:** No classes from December 19, 2024 to January 2, 2025

Something to think about when training your dog. 📣❇️🐾📣❇️🐾📣🐾❇️📣🐾❇️

We expect a dog to know everything in the first 6 months of their life , BUT we send kids to school for 12 years & hope they go to a 4 year college . ⬅️🐾⬅️🐾⬅️🐾

When you take a 6 week group session, remember you ONLY have been to 6 classes. How is your dog supposed to know everything! A dog is a commitment.

Here at All About The K-9 a 1 year commitment will help you & your dog so much. Our 6 week group session is only $110 . A 1 year training commitment of 8-6 week sessions adds up ⬆️ to ONLY $880.00 for the year . You will come to 4️⃣8️⃣classes , that’s 4️⃣8️⃣ weeks.

Can a kid know everything in 48 days & 48 weeks of school. NO , but 4️⃣8️⃣ weeks is a GREAT START FOR YOUR DOG TRAINING SUCCESS.

Hello! I’m Heather the proud owner of All About The K-9 in New Lenox. My journey with animals began at a young age, fueled by a deep love for dogs and a desire to help others understand their furry companions. Over the years, I've been dedicated to honing my skills as a dog trainer, earning multiple certifications that reflect my commitment to effective and compassionate training methods.

I am certified with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and have completed specialized education through Susan Garrett's Recallers program, Fenzi Dog Sports Academy, Robert Canine's training methods, and MethodK9 , Fear free , CCPDT , LAABC and APDP certified I continuously seek out webinars and courses on behavioral modification to stay current with the best practices in dog training.

My experience includes successfully earning AKC titles for dogs in obedience, agility, and rally sports. I believe that training isn’t just about teaching commands; it’s about empowering owners with the knowledge and tools they need to enhance their relationships with their pets.

In addition to training dogs, I've had a lifelong passion for horses, having ridden since I was a little girl. Finally, I fulfilled my dream of owning two horse as an adult, reinforcing my appreciation for the bond between humans and animals.

At All About The K-9, we focus on a holistic approach to training. We prioritize not only the dog's education but also the owner's understanding of how to handle and communicate with their dog effectively. Together, let’s build a happy and harmonious relationship with your canine companion!

Beginner Obedience is for dogs that know all there basic skills, walking on loose leash, starting to work off leash, can sit/ down stay up ⬆️ to 1-2 minutes well walking away , adding distractions .
