Happy birthday to our (not so little) Rooster!! Hard to believe it's been only a year?! We hope you get all the love on your special day!😋
Afternoon and happy woman's Wednesday! We're recognizing Kate today as our woman of the week, and she's quite deserving of it. Kate is a fast learner with nothing but compassion and patience in her heart. She is certainly one that leads by example and has an outstanding adoration for every pet that enters the clinic. Kate started shelter volunteering in 1996, and worked in a vet clinic after until becoming a professional groomer in 2002. She's owned her own pet salon, managed 2 additional salons, and has run her own pet sitting business. Kate lives on a farm with a mini horse, mini donkey, chickens, a goose, 3 dogs, 2 cats and a leopard gecko! She knew this line of work was always the plan, she was one of the first people to be put on the wait list when the vet tech program started at JJC and although she was impatient and decided to enroll in grooming school instead, she ALWAYS planned to follow this dream. Finding time to go to school as a single mom has proven difficult but that's why she feels extremely lucky to have found ACNL....to finally able to accomplish this goal. Kate is an incredibly talented person and is a treasure to be around. You'll always be appreciated!
Just a friendly reminder to spring your clocks forward 1 hour tomorrow!
It's Wednesday! You know what that means? This week we want you all to meet our woman of the week: Kelly. For about 15 years she's made her mark in the world of domestic pet care with 7 children of her own, 6 cats and leopard gecko. As a child, Kelly surrounded herself with fosters, a great handful of them being cats. Since then, she loved the thought of working with them. Her coworkers find her easy to talk to, an obvious go-to member for a heart to heart. Kelly also has a knack for organization, even in the most chaotic situations, she comes in with a plan of action!stay awesome, Kelly, and congratulations!
