This is Maze!
Maze is a handsome border collie that needed help with his leash manners, basic obedience training and some herding behaviors! This guy is extremely intelligent and highly motivated that within a few sessions his leash manners have been night and day! Maze, being a working dog breed, he has such a strong and energetic drive to herd anything (or anyone) he can. So he had some herding behaviors that we had to redirect (i LOVED to herd my hooman brother all around the house). After talking with his parents we decided to introduce maze to toy/tool that would allow him to herd his heart out and use that working drive that he has so much of! He is such an awesome pup and we are excited for him to reach his herding potential and be the best working dog for his family!

Time to put some work in!
Today was our very handsome man, Cooper’s, first training session.
At first, Cooper pulled, lunged, jumped up, and darted around on a leash (hint- typical young pup behaviors). Towards the end of the session, We were able to accomplish a rough focused heal. I am so in love with this boy, and I cannot wait to work with him (and his beautiful family) more!
Here’s to a better forever!

Having a velcro dog can be a beautiful thing! My fiancé is active military, so having my boy with me is an enormous sense of comfort. That being said, cooking and having a nose RIGHT where I am or begging, isn’t as welcomed! Let’s get those noses off the counters and keep the paws on the floor! Message us today!

Puppy’s are THE BEST! Puppy behaviors, however…
Teaching this handsome boy some manners is one of my favorite sessions of the week! We are working on leash manners, jumping, and basic obedience. He’s already come so far! I cannot wait to see how well he does down the road.

Having a reactive dog can be scary. The unpredictable behavior can stop you from taking your WHOLE family on trips! We don’t need to leave the dogs behind. Working through reactivity is a must, for your sanity and your dogs! We can absolutely accomplish that together!

Good afternoon!
I’d thought I’d throw out some quick tips on how to deal with the approaching hurricane (and having a pup stuck inside!).
1) Exhaust your pup today! Mentally and physically. Make sure to do this tonight as well before bed time. If you have a larger breed, be mindful of when you feed them! Feeding and then playing to closely together can cause your pup to flip their stomach.
2) Pick up their water tomorrow around lunchtime, maybe a little earlier. They will be ok without it for a couple hours.
3) Bring them out for a last call p*e around 1300. Last I checked the hurricane was supposed to hit around 1400, watch this prediction carefully and adjust as needed.
3) If you have a dog with a high anxiety response to noise (like thunder, fireworks, motorcycles, etc.) CBD chews are a good idea. The wind is supposed to be intense, and with constant wind comes constant noise.
4) This is exactly why I push crate training. Throw a blanket over the top of their kennel and encourage them to be in their safe place.
5) Fill your tub!!! Fill buckets if you don’t have a tub. This is in case of lose of power, your dog does have water. Don’t let them drink directly out of it, use it to fill their bowl up.

If you have any other advice, feel free to drop them below in the comments.
Stay safe!

Having my pup, Barrett, off leash to play is so nice! His recall is stellar, I don’t have to worry about him running off or going onto the road. By perfecting his recall, Barrett is able to play as hard as he wants in the field behind our house. And I love that for him!
Let’s perfect your recall and give your pup the opportunity to explore safely, while you have piece of mind.

Kevin! YOU are a ROCKSTAR!?
What better way to break in our brand new equipment!
Kevin is an extremely intelligent, highly motivated puppy. He has all his basics down (no credit to us there, that was all Shelby Davis!). Kevin’s parents began describing several displays of herding behaviors.
Kevin is a Miniature Australian Shepherd, with a lot of working drive! Unfortunately, Groton is not a farm town, and his parents don’t own any 🐮 (bummer, I know).
So, after a quick talk with his parents (explaining his need to work) our team (myself and his parents!) decided on agility training!
Not only did Kevin rock the tunnel (the 3 foot, 18 foot, and 3 foot with blind exit), he excelled.
Here’s to our working breeds!

Hudson, Hudson, Hudson! I am SO proud of you (and your parents)!
A month ago, having Huddy sit next to another dog would have resulted in someone getting nipped, lots of barking, and a horrible display of fear. Yesterday we were feet away from each other with little problem, absolutely nothing we couldn’t correct!
Patience makes perfect after all! 😉
There are no mountains we can’t move together! What a fantastic team!

Oh, Hudson. I know EXACTLY what to do with you!
This sweet cuddle bug found his furever family about a month ago, after flying to the states from Puerto Rico!
Hudson is crazy smart, but has some impulse issues and leash reactivity.
In three short weeks, I have seen intense improvements. We have more work to do, but I’m confident Hudson will be a fantastic addition to their family! I am so excited to help them reach their goals!

Let’s talk about fear based reactivity!
I am seeing an incredibly spike in fear based aggression and reactivity. BUT… this is not an end all be all! After a SINGLE session, Bear (seen below) went from growling with his tale tucked and hiding behind his owner, to literally eating out of my hand. Reactivity has the potential to evolve into aggression. It does not need to be this way.
Reach out to me and let’s tackle the behavioral spiral of fear based reactivity together! You’re fur-end deserves a long, healthy, fear-free life! And this is much more achievable than most realize.
✨P L E A S E contact a professional, such as myself, for training on reactivity. If training is done incorrectly, it increases the risk of an incident or progression of reactivity.
Please do not put yourself, or your pup, in harms way.✨

In any relationship, there are arguments, tantrums, disagreements, highs and lows! Every once and a while, we have to look at ourselves and recognize everything we are bringing to the table, the good and bad!
Sometimes WE are the ones that need help! Our actions (or lack of action) can often induce behavioral issues in our pups.
That’s what I’m here for! One on one training sessions customized to your needs.
✔️No group sessions.
✔️No waiting until the end of class to ask questions.
✔️No fear of age or breed restrictions.
✔️NO judgement.
✔️No fear of dog or leash reactivity.
✔️Minimal distractions.

(My pup, Barrett at 18 weeks, practicing a “wait” and “focus” before getting out of the truck!).

Meet Boba!
Boba is a very high energy dog with intense instincts! He has done amazing things and has begun looking to his owner for the direction he desperately needed!
I am so proud of how far he has come. Boba and his family have made leaps and bounds!
Boba has learned sit, down, come, leave it, wait, stay, touch, off, and picked up on some manners. He knows he cannot jump or lunge, grab, or his old favorite, tackle. He has turned into a fantastic addition to his family! Happy life, my friend!!
