Hello everyone! I’m sure we are all excited to start seeing signs of spring!
I just want to fill everyone in with some upcoming changes.
Beginning in April, my grooming schedule will be limited to M-W, 8-5. This schedule change will be in effect indefinitely. I will still be available for pet sitting on non-grooming days. This change is so I can spend more time with my family, and to persue other interests. Please know that I will not be quitting grooming, just limiting my schedule. If this does not work for you, please contact me and I will get you a referral to another groomer.
In talking with other groomers, I have realized my prices are not competitive with theirs, so a price change will be in effect immediately. Grooming prices will be a minimum of $65 plus tax. I will not be giving any discounts. If you feel this is out of the question for you to pay, I urge you to shop around to other groomers.
I have had issues getting payment for both grooming and pet sitting, so from now on grooming payments must be complete before dog is picked up. Pet sitting must be paid at drop off, not when dogs are picked up. Also, I will no longer be accepting Venmo as payment for services. I still be accepting cash, check, and cards.
All grooming dogs must be picked up by 5:00. There will be a per minute charge after this time.
Drop off times before 8:00 must be arranged ahead of the appointment. I will no longer be accepting dogs past appointment times as well. If you arrive early to your appointment, I ask that you please wait outside until I call you in.
With a client list of still nearly 200, I urge you all to rebook your next appointment. With a limited schedule, spaces will be limited and I won’t be able to get you in as easily. Please remember I don’t do “speed” grooming and your dog will be here a minimum of 3 hours for their appointment.
I will also be charging fees accordingly from here on out. Additional fees will be added to the grooming for dematting, special handing, and parasites. If your dog comes in with parasites such as fleas, ticks, and worms, I will expect them to immediately be picked up. This exposes every other pet in my shop, so they will not be allowed to stay. There will also be a minimum $25 fee for cleaning and pest treatment. There will also be up to a $5 fee per tick for removal/disposal.
I want to thank you all for your business over the last 6 years, and looking forward to many more! Happy Spring!
Diana
