Parents may only pick up their child at the lower field IF they do not need a working student to walk down with them. They must be proficient in walking a horse safely and practice proper turning out protocol. The Working Student will make this assessment, please check in with them BEFORE turning horse out. All post riding routines must be completed.

Lost & Found has become full due to forgetting items because riders have not returned to the barn after turning horses out. And responsibilities haven’t been met with the increase in this convenient pick up practice.

This convenience will be taken away if riders are not fulfilling their responsibilities.

If needing to cancel or reschedule your lesson for next week, please text Kim by tomorrow, 6/30.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE…. Pick up after yourself and your children!

We don’t mind the kiddos playing with the toys we have up at the barn but please have them put them back or please put them back for them BEFORE you leave!

Every morning we are cleaning up empty water bottles, fruit snack wrappers, putting nice water bottles left in the lost and found, picking up bean bags, putting back crops & whips not used in the ring, plastic horses, small poles, cones, back shedrow doors left open.… the list goes on.

I do my best to clean up what our own children play with in the morning but have an additional 20 minutes or more in the AM cleaning up things my children did not play with.

You will see that we are trying to clean up around the barn without asking others to help. PLEASE DO YOUR PART and clean up after yourselves or mini mes.

Thank You!

*Continuing our RESPECT & RESET to help save everyone time and money.*

As our 4/29 Derby @ the Vineyard held at Blue Elk Vineyard is quickly approaching, we need your help!

Wednesday 4/26 - JUMP COURSE SETUP - Kim will need help unloading the jump trailer and setting up the course. Those who can help with heavy lifting of the jumps and those who have a creative eye for decorating the jumps with our multitude of fake trees and flowers to really make our setup pop!

We’ll need as many people as possible! Blue Elk is approx 35-40 minutes away from the farm. Planning to arrive at Blue Elk around 4:00 PM and depending on how many people, it could take anywhere from 2-4 hours, 8 if Kim has to do it on her own.

Please comment below if you are able to help on Wednesday, April 26th!

Thank you in advance!

We were enjoying all the smiles and neglected to take some pictures, feel free to post below 🙂

Huge Thank You to all that came out today to help bathe horses, groom horses, take a turn with the extra clippers, willie washing, kid and Derby wranglers, and being an overall great barn fam ❤️

03/27/2023

We had another great Bradley Caine Clinic on Saturday and they never disappoint!!!

Angel was the real MVP by allowing 3 riders to participate and never batting an eye…. Maybe a side eye glance from time to time😂

Everyone came away with valuable input to continue their hard work and always a good laugh or two. Our barn family continues to make us proud by coming to watch early and support their other barn members and always welcoming outside riders in with a friendly smile and words of encouragement or simply a “love your horse”.

Thank you to Becky Mark Equestrian for letting us take over your indoor, yet again. And for having the cutest newborn foals to grace their presence while we’re there! ❤️

Week of 3/13-3/17:
Your group lesson is mandatory! If you need to reschedule, think ahead and do that now within this week. You will not be able to progress with lessons unless you have attended this week scheduled lesson. If you have a scheduled private lesson this week without a group lesson at another time, you will need to also audit a group lesson.

(I know of 1 or 2 private lessons will not be here this week, you’re fine)

We will take this week as a “Reset & Respect” week. You may come early to groom but you will not be tacking up before your scheduled lesson time unless instructed to.
