At Double H European Skulls we create and prepare European skull mounts and skull cleaning services for sportsman, taxidermists and trophy shops using dermestid beetles. My customers come from all over - most who are hunters and taxidermy shops located in New London, Waupaca, Clintonville, Hortonville, Appleton, Neenah, Menasha, Oshkosh and the surrounding area. osse, Wausau, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Minneapolis and Stevens Point to drop off their trophy head or to pick up their finished order, and we receive shipments from customers all over the United States. Our inventory is constantly changing but typically includes skulls and European mounts of whitetail and mule deer, skulls and European mounts of steer and buffalo, and skulls from red fox, coyote, beaver, muskrat, otter, raccoon, opossum, and other animals. The main method we use to clean skulls is flesh eating Dermestid beetles. However, we have experience using many other methods that might be used in addition to beetles to insure your trophy skull is cleaned, degreased and professionally whitened and is worthy of display. The process we are most proud of and has set us apart from other skull cleaning and European mount companies is our degreasing process. Without proper degreasing skulls that look white and beautiful when you pick them up eventually turn yellow and gray with time, this is what happens to a skull that isn’t properly degreased.
