Stray Animal Fund Endeavor (501-C3)
The Wolf River Veterinary Clinic maintains a fund that is based on private donations for the care of stray animals that need homes. These funds off-set the cost of caring for sick and injured animals, spaying, neutering, vaccinations and then caring for them until they can be placed in an appropriate home. While we cannot function like a humane society, we try
to the best of our abilities to give every animal a chance at life. All adoptions include-
*Spaying/Neutering
*Felv/fiv testing (cats)
*Heartworm testing
*Tick born disease testing
*Deworming
*1st Year vaccines
*Microchipping
*Flea treatment & Heartworm preventative (during their stay with us)
Donations are welcome by cash, check, or items you feel the pets may need. (At this time we are not set up for credit or debit donations)
-Paper Towels
-Kong Dog toys of varying sizes
-Cat Toys
-Collars/ Harnesses

Tater & Tot want to let you all see the progress they're making since being taken in by SAFE. They are estimated to be about 8-9 months old. Here is their weight progress to date:
Tater: 6/25/24...33.1 lbs
7/12/24...36.4 lbs
Tot: 6/24/24...20.9 lbs
7/12/24...26.8 lbs
As you can see, Tot was more emaciated than his brother. They are both making good progress. Enjoy their before and after pictures!
The big news is that Tater & Tot have found their forever home...together!! They'll be with us for a few more weeks, then they get their forever home! This happy ending was made possible by all the compassionate people of our community who donated to their medical care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
❤️🐾🐾❤️
We would like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our S.A.F.E. program for Tater & Tot's medical care! They are gaining weight, getting more confident, and have learned to trust the staff at Wolf River Veterinary Clinic. The picture here is how they looked at intake in June. Because of the kind, caring and compassionate people who gave us donations for their care, we've been able to feed them a specialized diet designed to help them gain weight and get the nutrition growing puppies need. They are also receiving the best medical care!
*This post will be followed up with some before and after pictures of Tater & Tot, along with their weight gain numbers, so check back shortly! 😃

Donations Needed! We have a pair of puppies in need of quite a lot of TLC. They are emaciated and need medical care. The New London Police Department has helped us with their care to some extent but neither they nor SAFE Stray Animal Fund Endeavor have huge budgets for cases like this. We are looking for any help monetarily towards their medical care as well as needing money towards food for them. They are on a special diet to help them gain weight so we are unable to accept food donations directly, however you can send cash/check to the clinic or stop down to donate. You can also call Wolf River Veterinary Clinic at (920)982-2733. They do carry the food at the clinic so staff can easily help you with purchasing a bag/cans towards their care as well. We appreciate any and all help!
We have named them 'Tater' and 'Tot' and they are about 8 months old.
**PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR MEET AND GREETS***
Stray unaltered male with no microchip found on Smith Street in New London. Please contact Wolf River Veterinary Clinic if you have any information!
MEET ARGO! He's desperately seeking his forever home!
He’s a 1.5 year old Pitbull. He is up to date on vaccines and is neutered.
He gets very nervous and scared in new situations. He would be the perfect companion to a home that understands him and has lots of time to give. Once he settles in, he is a very affectionate and playful dog. He loves to jump and give kisses. Unsure how we would be with younger kids, as he has no manners. He does great with most dogs that are playful. He gets a little mouthy when he plays, but does great with redirection. Since he is still young, he will need to continue basic obedience and leash training.
**Breed experience preferred**

HANDSOME, FUNNY, AFFECTIONATE, ENERGETIC BOY LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER FAMILY AND HOME!
Hi, my name is Ethan! I would love to become part of your family. I am smart, affectionate, playful and energetic. Did I mention energetic?
I like other dogs and cats, but I am shy in new situations, so I need to be introduced slowly! I really like kids, they're lots of fun! I can get pretty excited during playtime, so I may do better with older, sturdy kids that can handle my energy.
Oh my gosh do I love walks and exploring! I would like a family that has lots of love and time for me. I'm a heeler mix, so I need lots of exercise and basic obedience training, though I do know a few commands like sit, stay & here. I told you I was smart!
At the end of the day, I love to cuddle with my peeps. There is nothing better than watching a movie, cuddling on the couch and eating popcorn!
I will be protective of my new family and home, once I learn to trust them. I just know the right family is out there looking to adopt a funny, loving, playful boy like me! So, if that's you, call Wolf River Veterinary Clinic in New London to schedule a time to come and meet me! I can't wait!!
Stray intact male brought in this morning. Contact Wolf River Veterinary Clinic with any info on the owner. Found on Beckert Rd in New London.
🐰Cottontails are being found Everywhere ! Here, pictures are examples to protect the bunny nest for 14days before they move along. Letting mama IN to feed while keeping predators OUT. You may never see mama she’s like a stealthy ninja 🥷 Only feeding twice a day, not being seen. And if you are still worried if she’s coming by - apply this technique - place flour or sticks around the baby nest and if disturbed you know she’s come by!
Thank you Wildsouls wildlife rescue
