First time on puppy food!!! I think they like it! All pups are spoken for!
At the vet for their first shots 😬💉. They want out!!
Flint has an owie! He sprained his knee and since he refuses to take it easy he now gets to wear a splint!!
They are NOT impressed with being in the pen and the big dogs being loose 😂
When the puppies get older I so enjoy taking video! I promise I will get pictures tonight or tomorrow! It is so fun to actually see their little personalities develop!
Puppies first meal on big puppy food 😂, they totally dug in!!!
Liberty says that she isnt sure what Christmas is about but she is grateful that the fat man in a red suit didn't step on her and that he brought her some new treats and a warm bed to sleep on! Merry Christmas liberty, your first Christmas spent free and not caged! And a huge merry Christmas from my crew to yours!!
I would like to announce the arrival of our newest Mill mommy. Meet Liberty (formally known as Kerri). She is from the same mill that we had gotten the other 3 dogs from but this little gal is pregnant, it is projected that she is due in about 3 weeks and as soon as her milk comes in we will schedule a c-section. Every litter she produced in the mill ended up with a c-section so I have made the decision (along with my vet) to not allow her to go through trying to have them naturally with the likelihood of it ending in a c-section anyway. Liberty is a smaller gal and appears to have shorter legs but upon further inspection we have learned that she actually have very little muscle tone in her legs (likely from being in a crate that was too short for her to even stand in). Her legs bend at an odd angle and her front paws "flip" over when she walk so it appears that she is walking on the tops of her front paws! Liberty is amazingly sweet and we are getting to know her, she appears slightly dominate with other females (but keep in mind she is pregnant). When she arrived yesterday she would not seek out attention and today she will approach me or one of my sons for love! I am very optimistic about her healing! We have a long road and pricey road ahead of us but I wouldn't have it any other way! I am just so grateful that the mill was willing to sell her to us and she now knows what a home is! She spends a lot of her time pacing and walking which the vet says is good as it is building up her muscles! I want to give a huge shout out to Jody for again being willing to drop everything to make the drive to pick up this mommy, one to our amazing vet team who made sure she was able to see a vet today and lastly to Brenda who is my contact with the mill!
The last little guy who is still looking for his forever home
