Hey everyone!
I just wanted to share a quick and friendly update. Iโve recently received a large number of requests from new double-coated dog clientsโIโm so honored and thankful! ๐
That said, in order to prioritize my health and energy for the pets already in my care, I need to make a few changes that will take effect immediately. ๐ฅฐ
I will no longer be accepting new double-coated dogs that are overdue or severely overgrown (typically more than 6โ8 weeks of grow-out), especially those in the large to extra-large category (50+ lbs). These types of grooms are very time-consuming and physically demanding, and I have to be mindful of what my body can sustain long-term.
Iโll also be enforcing this more strictly with my current clients who have heavy-coated breeds but arenโt keeping to a regular schedule. In these cases, grooms may move from a base price to an hourly rate to reflect the added time and work.
In the rare event I can make an exception for a new client, grooms will begin at a $250 base or move to hourly pricing, depending on the condition and size of the dog.
