Have you been putting off a gastroscopy due to lack of transportation or a horse that doesn’t travel well? Does your horse need a follow up scoping? Is your horse displaying possible symptoms of equine gastric ulcer syndrome - frequent mild colics, weight loss, poor hair coat, grouchy under saddle? Do you have a horse that has had multiple choke episodes? We can now bring the gastroscopy to you on your farm. Video display allows you to see what we see and reports with photos explain best management for your horse. Call if you have questions or would like to schedule!

Dental days, say cheese!! So many dentals this time of year. A look at how many cheek teeth a horse has and a mild common abnormal incisor (front teeth) wear pattern.

We’ve seen first hand the smoke, road closures and damage of the out of control fires in Page and now Shenandoah Counties. If your horses are in danger please let us know and we can try to connect you with a safe haven. Thank you to the firefighters and volunteers who are doing important work!!

If you think your horse is suffering the ill effects of smoke inhalation - nasal flare, coughing, belly push with breaths, head down posture and difficulty breathing - please call!!!

Saved by the pad!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the super smart owner who called and had us Xray this nail in place so we could check depth and placement of the nail prior to removal. This horse will be a-ok!
