Baby Boy Red met his fur-ever sweet family today. They loved on all the babies. 3 weeks away and he gets to go home with them.

Happy 5 weeks to these precious babies. We are socializing and learning about the world. Our baby teeth are in and we survived weaning from Mama. Mama plays with us now and it’s fun. We are 3 weeks away from going to our fur-ever homes.

We have been weaning Mama Rue from the puppies for over a week now. This helps them transition from milk to solid food and learn to be independent. Also allows Rue to get some freedom and reduce the strain on her body - she is returning to normal as you can see in the image - back to running on the farm and sitting with her sibling Bristol.

We let Aunt Dolly visit the babies today. She’s real curious about each one. They were more concerned if she had any milk more for them.

All puppies are spoken for in our current Rue & Finley litter. We have a few on our waiting list for our upcoming planned litter and here is some information:
1. Dolly is AKC Black Roan GSP - and Finley is AKC Liver Roan GSP - what’s that mean for the litter? They’ll have both black roan and liver roan puppies.
2. When’s the litter due? - Dolly is due to come into heat this month or next we assume. Depending on conception - looking like possibly a Feb 2025 litter.
3. You can get on our waiting list by contacting us. Once the litter is born - we will reach out to you to confirm you are still interested and give you tentative DOB.
4. This will be our last litter for awhile as we do not breed back to back the mothers. We don’t think it’s fair to them or their health. It’s physically very demanding on their bodies. With that said we would not anticipate to breed again until FALL 2025.

How is it we will be 3 weeks old tomorrow! We are starting to sit - puppy teeth are coming in - explore around us - and vocalize. At the end of week 3 - we will start the weaning process as Mama Rue won’t tolerate the teeth - then I’d say GSP wide open begins.
