Yet again, the pups are doing great with the weaning process. Each day we up the doggy chow ratio that we put into the formula mix. They cleared the large plate with in minutes rhis evening and fell straight to sleep. It's gotten to the point that they know their gruel is coming when they hear the blender going and as soon as I enter the room with it in hand and they smell it, they go wild. I'm so proud of how well they're taking to it!! They'll be on straight puppy chow in no time.

The pups had another successful weaning session. We added a very small amount more of chow to the gruel mix today and the puppies loved it so much they decided to jump in and eat it (you could almost say they played in it lol), then licked the plate and eachother completely clean, where as yesterday, most of the pups just stood over the plate, cautiously, and took small licks at it. Another great milestone reached for these sweet babies 👏 🙌

Two pups are relishing the weaning process. The other three are not showing interest currently, as they are accustomed to nursing immediately after waking up from their nap; but we will work with them more after they've been awake for a bit. Maybe this evening.

Tomorrow or Friday we will blend in a bit more chow and see how the pups do with that. It's a process ❤️ But they're hitting milestones, for sure.

Patiently waiting for their momma to get back inside from their bathroom break. They're ready to eat. Arrow had woke them all up to play and now that he's tired of playing, he's aggravated by their desire to play. 🤦‍♀️😅
