We've been taking things slow with Wren as she was not comfortable with us as much as we had hoped.

So we gave her a few days without trying to push for anything, just feeding and cleaning the pen. After that, I would spend anywhere from 15min intervals to 1 hour intervals just hanging out and letting her eat near me or if she showed interest in me, I would reward her.

Today, she seemed so interested in coming over and wanting to be friendly that we spent some time together. She really enjoys grain, so while she got her morning feed, I got to get in my first true touches!

Although this does not look like much, this is huge for a mustang, especially one that wasn't as willing as other mustangs.

Here's to a huge step in the right direction!

Today's session was very short due to work, however we were so very close to our first true touch. Here's just the beginning, Wren.

Here at Lagan "Little Hollow" Farm, we have horses and poultry, as well as getting into homemade products.

Hopefully in the coming weeks, we can offer some freezer preserves and sourdough in different flavors.
