Please don’t feel ANY obligation to donate, we are extremely grateful for all the kind words we have received. We just had a few people reach out and ask if we had anything set up they could give to, my best friend and former employee had set this up for us and we thought the easiest thing to do would be to share it here. Thank you so much for being there in our time of need this is most definitely the worst and hardest thing we have ever gone through. We are looking forward to seeing all the pups as soon as we feel physically and emotionally ready. I know it will be a good form of therapy to spend some time with some wagging tails.

This morning at 1:23am Roger and my son Everett Laine Desreuisseau was born into this world sleeping at 39 weeks. I feel blessed to have been able to feel every kick and get to see his face. We are extremely heartbroken and having a very difficult time with grieving, we ask that we not be reached out to via text, phone call, DM, etc. If you would like to leave a comment here they are welcome. We ask that our wishes are respected. Thank you to everyone for understanding. If you do happen to see us out and about or at our work we assure you we know that you are sorry for our loss and we’d prefer that it be unspoken as it will be hard to keep it together for awhile.

Right now we are unaware on how this will affect the business as we have arrangements to make and are unsure of how the grieving process will be. We are very grateful to all our loyal clients and just ask for grace and patience as we navigate these new waters and focus our attention on healing. Thank you again for understanding.

For those of our clients that dont know, Shannon will be out for maternity leave after this week and won’t be back till August. Roger will be out for a couple weeks as well and will be back mid July. That being said wish them good luck and a safe and happy delivery of their newest baby boy. Please understand that their spots will fill up fast on their return and if you’d like to get in with them you’ll need to be booking in advance. In the meantime their are many other groomers here at A Muddy Paw and everyone of them are skilled and capable to give your pup the spa day they deserve ☺️🐾🐾🐾🐶

We wanted to say thank you to all of our awesome clients for being patient as we transitioned through receptionists. Our number one priority has always been client satisfaction and it always pains us when we know we can do better. A few of our early morning clients. We offer 7am straight through slots to select clients that have pups with special needs. In this case we have a pup that has extreme anxiety around other dogs and we’ve found that the early morning apt with his brother and sister work best for him. I wonder if you can guess which one has the anxiety?

Whoa, 😳 we are slammed and booking up faster than ever. We’re trying to open as many apts 📕 as possible but it is getting hard. Be sure you’re reaching out 📞 at least a couple weeks ahead as we rarely are able to book the same week now. Best bet for those repeat clients is take advantage of our recurring apt feature and never miss out again ✅. We’re being sought out by clients from towns as far as Newtown and Woodbury due to our sparkling reputation so be sure you’re keeping your spot at A Muddy Paw by getting those apts booked up. 🐾🐾🐾🐶

You’d never guess how many different shampoos, conditioners and various other products we carry to keep your pup feeling fresh well after their spa day. The best part we don’t use the same gimmicks many other salons do by upcharging them. We as groomers are in charge of selecting the right shampoos and conditioners for your pups skin and coat and we take those decisions very seriously. ☺️

We’re having so much fun at A Muddy Paw with both existing and new clients coming in, in droves. We have had more clients this month than ever and have not seen a slow down in sight. We see this as a huge compliment to our business and our groomers. As always do your best to schedule ahead and rebook every chance you have.

Luna and Cosmo two Shorkies from the same household. They’ve come so far since they were first groomed. This is them in a manageable summer trim and with great communication between the owner and the groomer we’ve found a great length for maintenance and functionality and we must say they look absolutely adorable. We at A Muddy Paw believe that finding the right cut with the owner is very important and strive to make sure all owners are completely satisfied with the quality of every groom.

Meet Maisey and Roxy in their summer cuts both come from the same household and have both become such great pups for their grooms. A Muddy Paw loves being able to help train all these beautiful pups how to be groomed. We have groomed both of these pups since they were pups and with patience and great techniques we believe most pups can become great at being groomed.

Rio, River and Rubi all come from the same household and come from Texas. They are used to being groomed every two weeks and I must say they are amazing pups all with their own personalities. They did amazing for their first groom at A Muddy Paw with Roger and we look forward to seeing them often. They will be a great addition to our wonderful bunch of clients.

We have a lot of doodles come of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. It’s not common that we have 3 in the same household. Here’s Hartley, Harper, and Oakley, honestly they all did amazing it was so much fun seeing them together they were so cute and the way they interacted with eachother had us laughing and in aww ☺️ constantly. Interestingly enough we have a family of three Australian labradoodles coming in tomorrow and we’re super excited to meet them as well. 🤩🐶🐶🐶

We have always had big aspirations and just when we think that we couldn’t grow anymore we have loads of people coming in that have been referred by existing clients. We’re trying new shampoos 🫧 and conditioners🧴 out on select clients and we’re seeing amazing 🤩 results. The quality of the grooms and baths 🛁 are going up and for those heavy shedders we’re getting more of that undercoat out and it’s lasting longer. We at A Muddy Paw 🐾 are always trying to stand out and go above and beyond to give the clients the best care and quality possible and we appreciate feedback anytime we get it. We’re so excited 😆 to announce we’ve added 2 new team members to our salon 🐶 We’re hoping with these additions to the team we’ll be able to open up some availability for more appointments. Please be patient as we train the new team members and as always be sure you’re booking at every appointment and if you forgot to book 📕 be sure to call at least 3 weeks ahead to be sure you’re getting the appointment days you prefer. For those that have an issue getting in on certain days try out our recurring appointment feature which will book you out indefinitely and will save your spot no matter what 🐾🐾🐶

A Muddy Paw is trying to squeeze everybody in and answer messages as fast as possible. We’re working around the clock to keep all our customers happy. It’s not uncommon for us to get a message at 930 at night and respond with an apt and book them. Your satisfaction in our response times and services are always most important to us. This is Cooper, he is a good example of why when you find a groomer that you’re comfortable with that you stick with them. A pups behavior for their groomer is so much better when they get comfortable with them. They learn the routine and their nervousness goes away and becomes happiness. The groom quality goes up with time and it becomes an amazing experience for both the pup and groomer alike.

We’re ramping up our staff and have tons of candidates in line. We’re doing our best to fit our regulars in as soon as we can, But nearly all of our groomers are getting booked through May. If you need an apt be sure you’re booking ahead as we can’t promise we’ll have space. We’re trying to drive the point that booking for the year keeps your spots reserved and keeps your pup feeling and looking amazing.
