Keanu Reeves was abandoned by his father at 3 years old and grew up with 3 different stepfathers. He is dyslexic. His dream of becoming a hockey player was shattered by a serious accident. His daughter died at birth. His wife died in a car accident. His best friend, River Phoenix, died of an overdose. His sister has leukemia.
And with everything that has happened, Keanu Reeves never misses an opportunity to help people in need. When he was filming the movie "The Lake House," he overheard the conversation of two costume assistants; One cried because he would lose his house if he did not pay $20,000 and on the same day Keanu deposited the necessary amount in the woman's bank account; He also donated stratospheric sums to hospitals.
In 2010, on his birthday, Keanu walked into a bakery and bought a brioche with a single candle, ate it in front of the bakery, and offered coffee to people who stopped to talk to him.
After winning astronomical sums for the Matrix trilogy, the actor donated more than $50 million to the staff who handled the costumes and special effects - the true heroes of the trilogy, as he called them.
He also gave a Harley-Davidson to each of the stunt doubles. A total expense of several million dollars. And for many successful films, he has even given up 90% of his salary to allow the production to hire other stars.
In 1997 some paparazzi found him walking one morning in the company of a homeless man in Los Angeles, listening to him and sharing his life for a few hours.
Most stars when they make a charitable gesture they declare it to all the media. He has never claimed to be doing charity, he simply does it as a matter of moral principles and not to look better in the eyes of others.
This man could buy everything, and instead every day he gets up and chooses one thing that cannot be bought: To be a good person. ❤️

About us. I started training retrievers at a pro kennel for field trial dogs at 18 and then graduated to police dogs at the same kennel in Desoto Texas. I finished my first search and rescue dog Sadie during this time. Unfortunately I was also introduced to what bad and irresponsible breeding can do to your family and your beloved canine. Sadie couldn’t walk by the time she was a year old. She had hip dysplasia so bad she would drag her back end and just whine. It broke my heart. She was so intelligent. Even to this day I believe she was the smartest dog I’ve ever owned period. I worked tirelessly three jobs to save for her surgery. Not one single vet would help our cause. I finally achieved my goal almost six months later. She was near death. After her first hip was modified she started gaining her weight back. By her second surgery she healed and was fetching dimes off the bottom of a twelve foot diving pool. Dimes. I knew she had a gift and realized I did too. I could communicate with dogs. Get on their level. Take them from a given daily action to rewarding the behavior building on it and making the action a commanded performance. playing dead with the command bang or fetching on command anything anywhere anytime. Gaining trust to go into situations that were not natuarl or surfaces that were uncomfortable, obstacles that were foreign. I was an alpha in every sense. In every sense a leader. This was my purpose. This was where I fit in life. I was always the black sheep. I had a rough upbringing bc my adoptive mother died at age 13. Whst a tender age to lose the one you look up to. She was a trainer as well a vet and a handler of equine. She was amazing and every day was an adventure. I grew up after that in silence. I really only got on with animals. I understood and related to their loyalty and their unconditional love. They would never abandon yiu on purpose. They would never nit approve of you. They had so much love. They were both my entertainment and at that time my protection against predators that walked on two legs not four.
In my adulthood early in I trained with Winifred Strickland. I first poured over her books and spent countless hours calling her and asking questions. For those of you who don’t know who she is. She is the most decorated professional obedience trainer, winning 15 times or more, of all time! I was enchanted and blessed to have met her personally on a trip for one of her weekend course she had. I read much much more. I poured over do g behavior books anything really about digs I could get my hands on. Sadie by my side. Then we had Taylor who I also finished. He was a winner of an obedience title at a very young age. He also raised my children with me. He even stayed with me through a horrible divorce and comforted me through many personal battles in my life. Always there to lend a paw. To fetch a diaper bag or bring in groceries or simply hold me through my loneliness. After Taylor passed of cancer and I had my own health challenges where I had a brain tumor and broke my back training a young stallion. We backed off animals. Once again I was going through a terrible divorce and this time I didn’t have a best friend that I could lean on. The man I was with alllowed no alpha leadership In the home. No discipline for anyone. Children canine self discipline. Nothing. I had ti realize that for me God was my true Rock. That it was time that stand nit lean on anything or anyone. It was time that I train myself. I began asking myself as a single broken hearted person whst I had in skills. It didn’t occur ti me right away thst this talent this Dr Doolittle thing I had was valuable. I thought 💭 I have no skills. I train dogs for free thst won’t help me live. Well then here I was training a dog. A Breed I had worked with many times. I loved them fir there variations as much as their consistency. The Doodle. Specifically the golden doodle and a few border doodles. As far as I’m concerned the more intelligent the better. I was remembering the hours I spent with mom whelping litters, the day’s nursing puppies, the free time at the veterinarian office memorizing dog breed charts at age 7. A light bulb moment went off. I’ve been doing this for fun and as a volunteer my whole life. What if I make a career if this and set goals. I assessed my number one goal was to help People with disabilities like myself with Ptsd and with other life restricting disabilities gain their independence back. Then I’ll want to get a degree. A real degree from an accredited university for service dog training. It would be a breeze. After all I had been doing it for years. So I prayed hard. I decided my ultimate goal besides feed myself would be ti open a non profit training facility for finishing service dogs at a discount to less fortunate disabled people. The autistic child who was alone inside like 👍 was. I wasn’t autistic but certainly alone inside with ptsd. The veteran, the person bound by seizures or a wheelchair. The person whom had been forgotten bc if their differences. Whether hurt 😔 physically or mentally, neglected or rejected these people needed help thst didn’t cost 50k or more. I could do this. You know what before long the I became the first healthy we that I had had since my mom was alive. HIs name was Troy. He was paralyzed and just as alone and broken as I was. Two broken puzzles thst fit just right together. We found my purpose in training his service dog and found I was so much more than I ever knew. I wasn’t a failure. I was the type of person you would want around Im a crisis. I understood commitment and stopped running. We shared a soft silent unconditional love for each other. We were married without a single person’s love and support yet there was our growing pack. I understood Winifred and her ability to lead ten male dogs in a household without conflict. And my friend thst means you get along well with others no matter how many have judged you. I understood care and respect responsibility. We grew in ur breeding program and to this day we are still headed straight for our goal. We will not stop. We will accomplish this an turn a racket into a measure that stops su***de that heals hearts and most importantly gives people their independence back!! We want t offer this not tto the people who can afford it readily but the hundreds who can’t even hope for it. I’m still finishing my masters and in 6 months we will have finally havr the opening of our non profit. In 1 year we will be building our facility to train and live in. We will still breed our babies with all the love and care but most will go on to serve. Now about half do. Some in us consulates in schools fir the autistic in homes for a battered woman who has ptsd or a warrior who served and is woulded. Or who like my husband lost his ability to be mobile and lost his family bc the cross was too much for them. Now these people will matter will have that same love I had as a child when I felt alone and helpless and unprotected. And it won’t come at a price they can’t afford. Please pray for our goals and our journey. Thank you Diva’s family. Love Cristi

Ok so on the topic of potty training. It’s really simple to potty train. Dogs instinctively do not want to potty where they eat or sleep!! So at night either tie them up right next to you by your bed. Or crate them. When they whine at 2 am or so. It’s time to bring them out. Makes sure they stop intake of food and water at least 3-4 hours before bed depending on weather conditions. In other words use common sense. Don’t take them to play fetch at 6 when it’s too hot and not give them something to drink. This is mainly guidelines to help you succeed in the night and wake up to a clean area. Also when your baby puppy comes home remember they need to go out every 30 minutes. Their bladders are tiny. So when you take them out it should be bc they have had drink 10 minutes ago or food right away!! Also after they wake uo. Just like you they have been holding it and have to go potty. Or they are sniffing around a bit and circling. That’s a sure sign.
Ok so troubleshooting and encouraging correct behavior. Ok so when your puppy is taken out give him/her a command. Like “Do your business!” Then after pup eliminates (at this age of training you should always have treats in your hand) give the pup a treat. He will start going outside just to get the food. That way you are not waiting hours hoping they get it. Also use the same door every time they will learn to sit there and wait for you to notice the desire to go potty. Ask them. “Want to go outside?” Remember to always rid your yard if f***l matter as it can host parasites and contaminate your soil. This is a pain to fix and some are transmitted to humans just by touching. The eggs can be absorbed through your skin. Do not leave f***l matter bc you won’t believe how fast a parasite problem can occur. So pick up your p**p people. I hope that answered some questions?!
The treats are recommended in the group posts tips I share. Thank you guys
