Equest Farm Our mission, as custodians of the land, is to provide educational experiences to the citizens of New Orleans beginning at age 6 up to 106.

Equest Farm, located in the north section of New Orleans City Park, strives to provide a wholesome and aesthetically pleasing environment for the general public to enjoy the majesty of horses in an urban environment. It can be as small as visiting the horses at the stables to boarding a horse and competing at a national level in the USEF competitions for Hunters and Jumpers. Through its Riding Aca

demy, Equest Farm offers English hunter/jumper riding lessons for ages 6 and up as well as summer and holiday horseback riding camps. Equest Farm also offers full-service boarding and training and the Tack in the Park tack shop and hosts LHJA-sanctioned shows and the annual Tails But No Black Tie grand prix fundraising gala.

Our horsemanship class on First aid and Bandaging was a blast! The students first practiced standing wraps on each other so they could feel how it works and feel the pressure on their legs! Then we practiced on our patient school ponies! They learned so quickly!! Our next class is September 11th on Horse Handling 🐴! We hope to see yall there!
