They have plenty of dog friendly dogs who would benefit greatly from getting to meet other dogs and potential owners at NOLA City Bark. A reminder the foster permit is free and has the potential to change a pup's life!

CLOSURE NOTICE!
Due to impending rain, NOLA City Bark will be closed Thursday, January 25-Saturday, January 27. With the recent drought and temperature fluctuations, the ground is considered vulnerable to deterioration caused by dogs digging and heavy foot traffic, which would result in weaker grass growth and increased puddling. This preventive measure will alleviate the decline of park grounds and provide a better future experience for our members. We appreciate your understanding. Two Important Notes!

The NCB office will be closed Monday, 1/15 in honor of MLK Day.

Also, due to the impending freezing weather Mon-Wed, the water will be shut off at the park to prevent any damage to pipes. Please bring in your own water for you and the dog for your visit.

With some holidays having already passed and others upcoming I just wanted to take a moment to let you know about NCB office hours for the next couple weeks. The NCB office will be closed December 18th, 22nd, 25-26th, 29th along with Jan 1st and 2nd. If you believe you are due to renew in that time please get those renewals in as soon as possible and I apologize in advance for any slowness answering emails until after the new year!

Water is a big topic of conversation in New Orleans right now and here at NOLA City Bark it is no different. In short, for transparency, things like our water fountains and the spray hydrant were simply not made to withstand being pressed upward of 50 times a day 365 days a year for 13 years. In that time we have done numerous small repairs but unfortunately they have reached the end of their lifespan.

Now the good news: we have new water fountains that will be installed as soon as we can coordinate the best time to do so. Currently, we are getting bids and investigating new replacements for the spray hydrant. Your patience and understanding is appreciated while these much needed replacements and upgrades occur. Thanks!
