Our family of four rode out the storm with all of our animals at home. Experiencing cat 4 eye wall winds is not something we would want to do again! Being without power for 10 days was another challenging experience, but thats the reality of living in the deep south, isn't it? This was the first for us, but it won't be the last. We were fortunate enough to have good friends that helped us out big time with supplies. Huge shoutout to Justin Winters and Tracy Jordan for gathering some serious necessities. I am appreciative of sunny days and the excellent metal roof over our heads!
