In case you didn't know, this is National Veterinary Technician Week. These lovely humans give their all to make sure your pets are given the best love and care in their hospitals. Their jobs are not always about cute puppies and kittens, although we do get our fair share, but about all pets, injured, sick, scared, or just plain upset because a trip to the vet was not on their agenda. Hi! We sincerely hope you and your families are safe and well after Hurricane Ida's visit yesterday. Many in the New Orleans are without power and water unfortunately. At this time, our office will remain closed today until we can make sure all our employees and their families are safe. It's almost baby time! We had a little impromptu surprise baby shower for Dr. Amelie today! Nothing fancy, just some delicious Gentilly Cake (thanks Rouses Markets Mid City) and some cute things for Baby Lanaux-Mathews. We can't wait to meet you! Please note, Dr. Amelie will be out on maternity leave beginning Sept 6. We will have some wonderful and amazing doctors helping us out and of course, Dr. Cherie Hansen will be here too!
