🐛 There are lots of natural remedies that will get rid of worms in dogs, and it's always a good idea to use several together. Digestive enzymes and carrots are an example of perfect partners in the battle against worms.

Digestive enzymes mainly come from your dog’s pancreas. As food travels through your dog’s small intestine, the pancreas releases digestive enzymes. They break down food so your dog’s body can absorb the nutrients.

Betaine HCL boosts production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. It can help digest proteins and stimulate intestinal enzymes. Research shows betaine boosts digestive enzymes as well as intestinal microbiota. Foods with betaine HCL include beets, broccoli and spinach.

You can add powdered digestive enzymes or feed your dog these foods:
* Pineapple
* Papaya
* Pomegranate
* Spinach
* Kiwi

When you're fighting worms, give digestive enzyme-rich foods away from a meal to break down worms and larvae living in your dog's digestive track. Worms like tapeworms and hookworms attach to your dog's intestinal wall and pull nutrients from your dog so you need to be diligent.

Then include lots of raw grated carrots or fennel in your dog's meals. They don't digest so they'll just become bulk and travel through to be eliminated as waste ... along with the worms in their way.

Feed these foods for several weeks ... and then several more weeks when you stop seeing worms in your dog's poop ... to be sure.
