Meet Bongo, the 3-month-old Red Tick hound mix who's about to become the life of the party! 🎉 This little ball of energy is getting neutered on 11/19/25 and is ready to find his forever home where he can be the center of attention. He's a total social butterfly (or should I say, social paw-fly?) and loves people and pup pals alike. Potty training is a work in progress, but hey, who isn't, right? 💩 He's got all his shots, is heartworm-free, and has been wormed (because, ew, worms). This little guy needs some training, but he's got the potential to be a rockstar! He's looking for a home with kids, where he can get his zoomies out and snuggle up for movie nights. Oh, and did I mention he's a total Houdini and hates crates? 🤣 So, if you're ready for an adventure buddy, apply to adopt at https://www.frenzyrescue.com or foster him until after his neuter surgery. Another update! As of Sunday 6/8, 24 of the 27 dogs we all helped rescue are settled and in foster homes.

Now we know it’s possible for fosters to change their minds, but fingers crossed everyone stays put and we can work on getting all dogs scheduled to be fixed. Betty will be going up the vet tomorrow to go over the info on all dogs, and start to schedule appts for everyone.

We are so appreciative of everyone! Thank you again!!

UPDATE on the 24 Sh*tzu rescues- as of 1015am Friday!

Animal Control is loading the dogs as we speak and they will be transporting all 24 dogs to us directly at the rescue. This will happen today approximately 12:30 or 1 PM.

 if you would like to volunteer to help take these dogs, get them trimmed bathed vaccinated, dewormed, and photos taken please shoot a text to Kara at 317-246-0968.

We also need fosters that can take a dog (or two) home with them today after filling out paperwork. Fostering is free and all vet care and spay/neuter is paid for by us. You can last up to 30 days unless of course you fall in love with your foster and want to adopt!

Update on the Sh*tzu Surrender- there are 24 of these babies ranging in age from 3 months to 3 years. We were not able to get them tonight as planned but it is now happening tomorrow at 130pm.

If you have not already made contact with our coordinator Kara and are in the group chat called Sh*tzu Squad, please text Kara at (317) 246-0968 if you are able to help tomorrow with transport at 1pm odr volunteer after 2pm to help get the dogs bathed and vaccinated or if you would like to foster one of these dogs or a combo of any of these things!

!!!!!!!!!ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!

******NEED VOLUNTEERS AND FOSTER HOMES ASAP********

We have 20 Sh*tzu's coming in Thursday (Tomorrow) evening 5PM. We need help in picking them up at the home they are in and transporting back to the shelter.

Wed need foster homes for some to go to and we need volunteers for the shelter to help care for them while in the shelter.

I have not seen them but am being told that they have not seen a doctor for a few years, not been groomed for a few years. I will be working with them as long as I can Thursday night, then on the full weekend. Help is always welcome.

Please call me and we can get you set up where your help is most needed at that time. 317-414-5662

If you have any crates we can have to use please bring them by.
