LEMON and his owner recently completed Puppy Preschool and learned so much about how to establish a great relationship and all the stepping stones to helping Lemon become a well-rounded good boy. They are continuing training with us in Private Lessons so we can keep layering on more foundational concepts, with the ultimate goal of having an off-leash adventuring partner! Welcome to the pack 💛🐾

Sometimes you just have to jump right in! This was such a fun lesson with Michele Carlisle and Miss LAKE! Lake is a young Black Labrador learning the stepping stones to becoming a wonderful duck hunting partner. In this lesson we worked on swimming! With a little encouragement from TATE, we got those feet off the river bottom and she was motoring around like she was born for it. So proud of your work together! 💜🐾

This handsome boy has begun his Advanced Obedience program! TITAN is a 9 month old GSD who has a happy-go-lucky personality. As he is maturing into a large, powerful dog, we are here to ensure that he understands what is expected of him so he can continue enjoying life to the fullest. His owner has done a wonderful job with her homework leading up to training, and he’s making a lovely transition with his best paw forward! Welcome to the pack, Titan! 🤎🐾

It’s this cutie’s first day of training! BRUTUS is a young Boxer who struggles with fear and has become increasingly suspicious of strangers and territorial of his space. Over the next couple of weeks we will guide Brutus through challenges to build his confidence and help him trust leadership so he can learn to relax. Most importantly, we will teach his owners the skills to exhibit authority, confidence, and leadership worthy of trust! Welcome to the pack, Brutus! 🐾🤍

This week we round out the pack as MAX begins his training program! Max and Mattie are littermates, so while we have them both here we will be focusing on behaviors that surface when they are together, and building their confidence in being their individual selves apart. 🐾💙

GUS is showing little sister MATTIE the leashes here at LUK9 as he finishes his second week and she starts her first week of training! Our biggest training goals surround the pack dynamic at home, and by staggering each dog’s program we can ensure they are getting experience in learning alone, and with other pack members present. We welcome the opportunity to challenge them in realistic and meaningful ways. 🐾🐾

Whose dog hates nail trims?! Does even the thought of touching your dog’s feet send them over the edge? Do you avoid it until your dog can be sedated? Nail trims do not have to be a fight! GUS and his family started their training journey with us this week! Gus is a 2 year old Golden Retriever with the sweetest temperament, but he’s what you would call “a bull in a china shop”. Our job while he’s here is to help him channel his enthusiasm towards doing good boy things!

Gus also has two younger dog siblings who will be starting training soon, so his job is to become the best example to them that he can be to make things easier on his family.

It’s a privilege to guide everyone through the training process and beyond to have lifelong success in the entire pack. Welcome, Gus! 🙏🏼 💚🐾
