Skunk scent removal!

These two jerks got sprayed by a skunk at 4:30am this morning! I want to post how I got 100% of the skunk smell off of them! The order of operations matters!

▫️Baking soda
▫️dawn dish soap
▫️peroxide

💥💥DO NOT WET THE DOG💥💥

🔹Mix baking soda and dawn dish soap in a bowl to create a paste, cover all affected areas of the dog with this past
🔹 leave paste on for at least 1 hour! kennel your dog to keep it contained
🔹after an hour, add peroxide to the baking soda paste on your dog, lather well.
🔹rinse dog and shampoo/condition with normal shampoo and conditioner

This process is time consuming but it works!!!

The soap breaks down the skunk oil, the baking soda absorbs the oils as they break down, and the hydrogen peroxide lifts off the remainder of the oils allowing the baking soda to absorb it.

New Year, New Beginning

Life is full of Blessings, and I have no shortage of them. My most valued come in the form of family and friends. My parents always encourage me to follow my dreams and my friends have been a great inspiration. Someone very close to me took me under their wing this year and showed me the endless possibilities of focusing on my love for animals and the rewards of being my very own business owner. From these blessings, Julianne’s was born. In just a few short weeks I have met some amazing people in the business of finding everlasting homes for their animal babies.

I have already found that my travels provide a sense of pride and accomplishment that is beyond reward. Traveling with these furry friends is a great adventure and I will not look back. 2018 is already Blessed and I hope to Bless many on the road during my travels.
