Today’s beef, sheep and horse kids are showing. Tomorrow pigs, goats and horses. Come down and support our youth of Payette County, they have worked hard all year long with their animals.

It's not too late to get signed up for our next show coming this Friday 6/13 starting at 6pm. Pre-registration has been extended to 6/11 at 5pm do it now to save some money . Day of show registration is 5-5:30pm. Concessions will be available for purchase. If you are all ready registered and participated in our last show, make sure to save your back number, this will help with our scoring efforts.

Come join the Rawhider's 4-H Club at the One Mane Ranch Pee-Wee Rodeo, May 24th starting with breakfast being served at 8am. Then enjoy all the action of the day with the rodeo. Vendors will be on site for other food purchases. You won't want to miss this action packed day of food and fun.

You all have been asking about this horse show, well, here it is. The long awaited ND Tucker Buckle Series. Hosted by the Rawhiders 4-H Club. The show will be at the beautiful One Mane Ranch. Stay tuned for more details such as registration form and how to register. This year our buckles are sponsored by the Farriers of Idaho Guild (FIG). This year we would like to do a clothing swap, bring something not being used or worn and maybe find something new to wear. Western button up show shirts, boots, hats, belts are welcome. Don't worry about dinner, we will have our famous hamburgers/hot dogs available for purchase. This show is open to the public, adults and non 4-H youth are welcome.

Rawhiders 4-H club will be closing 12/31 to all new members. If you have not gotten registered, you will need to be registered and pay your dues by 12/31. If you are registered, you will need to get your dues paid by then, and horse kids will need to be registered and paid in order to attend Cayuse Camp in January. You can go into the extension office and pay with cash, check or card (with a small fee). Or pay over the phone with your card (small fee as well). Our next meeting will be Jan 6th at the church. I believe Rane’s and Thomas have the main course for dinner. New officers you will need to be in attendance.

Rawhiders were busy a couple of weeks ago. We made fleece lap blankets, made cookies and sang Christmas carols to the residents. Such a great time to be able to give back to our community. Rawhiders per our club requirements have to give back a certain amount of hours based on their age group, we also as a club give back throughout the year by doing things for our community. If you have a community service project that needs done let us know we would be happy to help out.

The Payette County Teen Leaders Christmas Party is scheduled for 6:00 pm on December 20th, 2024 at the fairgrounds in New Plymouth. We will eat dinner, probably potato soup, have a gingerbread out decorating contest and do a gift exhange. Please bring a wrapped gift that costs no more than $15 to exchange. Youth must be enrolled in ZSuite and have dues paid to participate in this event!
