This month is going to be so much fun for the personal dogs as we are starting sports and looking to earn some titles!

Blossom plans on getting all of her Trick Dog titles, returning to agility (with the goal of competing), and working on a freestyle dance routine (like you've seen on AGT).

Theo plans on working towards his CGC, CGCA, Trick Dog Beginner, IGP1 and starting dock diving.

I am so excited for my children and can't wait to see them unlock their potential!

Trauma (previously Kira) is a young, spayed, female Belgian Malinois that got thrown out of a moving truck, found in the Middle of an intersection and bounced between a couple homes.

She will be ready for her furever home June 10th.

She is doing two programs. A behavioral modification, and my offleash program.

Trauma adoption fee will be $900 with a $300 nonrefundable deposit that goes towards her adoption fee.

I feel like I am going to get a lot of complaints when it comes to her adoption fee. Truthfully with all the work I am putting into her I feel like this is a very fair price. She is getting over $4000 of training.

Trauma is not a candidate for bitework, but as I am starting to do sports with my personal dog I will have her evaluated in agility, dock diving, obedience sports and more.

Trauma would do best in

✅️House (may be fine with a town home as long as there's plenty of space)

✅️Active home and interests in training

✅️Malinois experience preferred

✅️Dogs okay

✅️Cats okay

❌️No apartment

❌️No Children under the age of 12

‼️URGENT‼️

Early this morning Pippa had a seizure. She is doing a lot better since. She does have a seizure history but it has not happened within the last year. We will be bringing her into the vet as soon as they call us back.

With this event happening I have decided to take Pippa out of the middle of the road program and to put her in my Basics program which focuses more on in home manners. Since she has worked on these skills a lot, she will be ready for a furever home January 22nd. Because of the situation I am even allowing non-locals to apply for her as long as they are able to handle transportation.

I really thought we were gaining a lot of progress these past couple weeks, being exposed to triggers and properly recovering from them. In the end we need to do what's best for her needs, and I don't really think Pippa benefits from leaving the house besides a walk or two. I don't think it's fair to risk her health to make these moments happen.

Pippa would do best in a calm home, where she can be focused on, and be with her people.

✅️Bag of food

Pippa and Blossom had their first play session tonight

I have had a couple people ask me why can Pippa only be placed in a home with no other dogs?

These training sessions and play sessions are held in a controlled environment where I have to constantly monitor the dogs, managing the play session, and making sure there is no resources that would cause a fight.

I have seen so many dogs be returned because all of these things I just mentioned weren't thought out carefully. The whole point of this program is to give these dogs a FUREVER home. I will always take a dog back but I would prefer my rescue dogs not to have to go through that.

A little Trauma update! She is finally starting to relax, and I’m starting to see her personality come out. Although, we have a lot of work to do. Basically this dog needs to COMPLETELY start over. She was not shown the world properly, and that is going to take some time to rehabilitate. This is going to take MONTHS. I will continue to update everyone as time goes by! For the most part Pippa is pretty laid back but every once in awhile she’ll enjoy a good 5 minutes of tug. Then she’s ready to go back to sunbathing🥰

Wouldn’t you love someone to lay out in the sun with? Pippa will be graduating from the Middle of the Road Program next month! Pippa used to be dog reactive, leash reactive and lacked a lot of basic manners. Now she is a fun, silly, well trained dog, who just wants to sunbathe and hang out with her people. I evaluated Pippa’a reactivity last night with my Australian Shepherd Blossom. This is waaaaaaaaay better than I anticipated. Especially since I was told she was very reactive towards female dogs. Still a lot of work to do!

When is it okay to rub our dogs belly?

I think we all need to good laugh. Here is Blossom’s Bloopers from learning how to bring my spray butter from the couch. This is a prime example that learning doesn’t happen instantly. It’s okay to make mistakes, it’s okay to take things slow, and it’s okay to laugh in between. Dog training is supposed to be fun! It’s a process! Things don’t happen overnight. You see a dog bringing me butter. I see a dog going to a designated area, opening a fridge, getting ahold of the butter, retrieving me the butter, running back to the fridge, and closing the fridge. That’s 6 whole steps! Pretty advanced for a dog to do if you ask me. Enjoy!

We all love to have fun and get our dogs amped up right? That’s completely okay! As long as you have control of their behavior. On and off switch is so important when it comes to interacting with our dogs😊
