Meet S'mores Olive and Biscuit! Available for adoption approximately 8-9 weeks old. They have had first set of vaccines and have tested negative for feline aids and leukemia! Our adoption fee for kittens is $85.00 and includes spay or neuter and microchip.

Pasta came to us from an outdoor colony and is a little skittish but we are working with her. Pasta has had her first set of vaccines and is scheduled to be spayed. Pasta like most of our kittens has had a very rough start in life. Our hope for pasta is to find her furever loving family with nothing but brightness going forward in her future! Hi everyone!! Meet Arthur, Arnold and Rupert! These guys were brought in with severe upper respiratory and eye infections! Our wonderful Dr's got them all better and now they are looking for their furever home!! They are about 8 weeks old. Arnold is the orange tabby and he has had his first set of vaccines and will be neutered. Arthur is the brown tabby and still has a little eye boo boo but Dr is confident it will clear! He has also had first set of vaccines and will be neutered! Rupert is the grey & white tabby and unfortunately his one eye was so badly infected it will have to be removed. He is scheduled for surgery and will be neutered at the same time. He has had his first set of vaccines. These poor babies have had a rough start to life but are definitely on the path to much better days!!! They are all a little skittish and we are working with them. They love pets and purrs! They just need their happily ever after!! Please consider taking one of these babies home!!! Stop by anytime and meet these sweet boys!!

Wish Joanna a happy tech week!!!

Joanna is the manager at Beat Care, when she’s not being our fearless leader she’s ensuring that the clients and patients receive the best experience and working on the floor as a technician. Joanna began working at Animal Care Center in 2000 as a veterinary technician.

She has a special interest in canine and feline behavior and before becoming manager at Best Care Animal Hospital she ran puppy kindergarten classes at Country Oaks Animal Hopsital for 5 years. Joanna also enjoys teaching humans how to communicate and train there companions to the best of there ability.

Joanna is married and has 3 children, a tortoise, 3 cats and a dog! ❤️

Wish Anna a happy tech week!

Anna’s impressive 18-year journey in the field started in the kennel!! She strives everyday to ensure your pets are safe and sound when undergoing surgery and is there to give them love when they’re waking up.
When she’s not tending to surgery Anna plays another huge roll at best care as financial advisor. 🤍

She’s passionate about educating and empowering
clients to provide the best care for their pets. Originally from Chicago, Anna now calls Florida home, along with her quirky dog Sushi, who she rescued from Best Care. Anna is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother who relishes traveling the world and spending time with her family at the beach—her happy place.

Wish Mikayla a happy tech week

Mikayla has been employeed with best care since 2015 but, ACC inc. has been her stomping grounds since she was just a baby!
Mikayla enjoys client education and ensuring that the client and there pet have left the facility feeling better than when they had walked in.
Mikayla works as a hospital technician, and also runs our adoption program along with managing inventory.

As lifelong Floridian, Mikayla shares her life with her fiancé, partner of 8 years, and their rambunctious 2-year-old son Grayson. Her home is also filled with rescued miss fits that she loves very much. In her spare time, she captures life’s moments through lifestyle and portrait photography.

Beata came to the US from Hungary and started working for animal care center our sister facility in 2001! She has been working for bestcare for 12 years.
Her four-legged family includes 2 boxers, 1 french bull dogs and a cat.
Beata spends her time in surgery! She takes pride in ensuring that patients get the best care and clients do to!
Beata has been a asset to our team for a long time!

Felicia joined our team in 2019,
She has always had a passion for animals and is grateful that her job at Best Care gives her the opportunity to put that passion to good use and expand on her skills. She has a special interest in lab work and works for idexx laboratories. She is trained in parasitology and chemistry, and she loves to further her skills by attending continuing education courses. Her furry family includes Virginia, Maia, Athena, Jade, Tornado, and Charles. In her spare time, Felicia likes to hike, shop, and visit different theme parks.

Charlie joined the Best Care team in 2023,
She has had a deep love for animals since she was a child and is always looking to learn about the latest treatments and techniques to help make their lives better. Charlie has three great kids and plenty of pets—four cats, two dogs, a bearded dragon, and a ball python! She has a particular fondness for pitties and their big, sweet personalities. In her spare time, Charlie loves trail walking, kayaking, and photography.

Wish Ariya a happy FIRST tech week!

Aryia is one of our Technician Assistants. She joined the Best Care team in 2022 where she worked as a kennel attendant and quickly found that she could help all over our hospital and was soon promoted to technician assistant where she’s helping everyone in our hospital! The days she’s not at best care she spends her days with her chickens and her dog.
�Originally from Florida, she moved out of state briefly, but couldn’t stay away for long. Ariya is currently pursuing her degree, has a huge loving family, and loves to paint in her spare time!

Amber is a tech assistant with She began her career with us in 2022, and is currently working on earning her CVT license and is enrolled in the St. Petersburg College Vet Tech program. She loves animals, so it’s no surprise that she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Born in New York, Amber moved to Florida in 2002. Her other interests include reading, jigsaw puzzles, and listening to music. In addition to working at a vet office, Amber also works at an animal shelter where she loves and cares for animals that don’t have fur-ever homes just yet.q

Wish Ryan a happy tech week!

Ryan joined our team in 2018 fresh out of high school. He began his work here as a kennel attendant and was soon promoted to kennel lead rather quickly. Now than spends his time i tech area taking care of our hospital patients and has a special place in his heart for chemo !
Ryan is known For his great attention to detail and wide array of knowledge.

He became a vet tech in mid-2019 and has been excelling ever since !
In his free time, he likes to tend to his aquarium and play guitar and video games.

Wish chelsie a happy tech week!

Chelsie has been with best care since 2017.
She started her journey in kennel and was moved into the technician roll soon after.

Chelsie spends her days at best care in surgery, doing dentals and taking care of our hospital patients! Chelsie makes it her goal everyday to make sure that every furry friend that walks into our hospital is as happy as they can be.

Chelsie’s favorite part of this work is getting the chance to make a difference and potentially save a life. Chelsie was born in Kansas and moved to Florida in 2017 to be closer to her mother. At home, her animal family consists of 4 cats and one lizard, who are all very spoiled!

Alex joined our team in April of 2015 as started as a kennel staff and quickly got moved up to our technician area because of her drive and love for animals. Everyday Alex makes it her goals that not only does her patients have the best care possible but, her team is okay to. Alex is the glue that keeps us all together !!

Alex Florida born and raised and has created a home that has quite a few animal companions. She has adorable mini farm that she tends to and cares for everyday before and after work !
When Alex isn’t hard at work, she is helping her family with there horses and taking care of all of her plants ☀️

Wish Daisy a happy tech week!!

Daisy joined our team In 2016!!
she’s been in the field for 24 years and has used each and every one of them to learn and grow !!
Daisy loves when we get to see a pet go home happy and healthy after treatment—with a bow in there hair of course !! (Or a Ty for our boys😉)
When Daisy is not taking care of your baby’s she is in charge of ensuring we have all the necessary, equipment and tools for our laboratory department !!

She’s originally from Connecticut, but Daisy moved to Florida in 2006. She has three cats, Four dogs, and one husband! If you spot Daisy on her time off, you will likely find her binge-watching true crime shows, attending horror conventions, or doing crafty activities like baking or sewing. If she had to choose a favorite animal, Daisy can’t help but love a wiener dog!

Wish Lacey a happy Tech week !!

Lacey joined our team as a volunteer in 2014. When she graduated from SPC two years later, she became a technician here, and then, in 2020, having earned her CVT, she was promoted to lead technician. And never fails to make he team feel important and heard and strives to teach everyone everything she can !

Lacey has many furry friends including dogs and cats! And when she’s now at best care, she enjoys gardening. Her professional interests include dentistry and nurturing the human-animal bond.
