Congratulations to Officer KJ Schlueter & K9 Rory from the Minnetonka Police Department on achieving THREE TAC21 certifications this fall. Not only did this team achieve patrol and narcotics detection certifications, but they recently were the very first team to achieve a TAC21 urban tracking certification. This is no small feat, especially considering this is a BRAND NEW team!!! Awesome job, KJ & Rory!

Meet Ghost, who was a long term resident at AOF found his new forever home yesterday. About 9 months ago we took him in after he was found tied to a post, underweight, and not well taken care. Proud of everyone at AOF and Minnesota Canine Consulting for showing this dog the love and attention he needed and deserved. Trainers and staff gave this dog the opportunity to thrive, and live in a safe environment. Trainers unlocked his special talents that helped him find his forever home.

Congratulations to all. Special shout out to Andy Helgerson. MCC police dog training is cutting edge and produces results.

K9 Echo and Officer Grosz recently deployed to a domestic assault call, where the suspect had initially fled the scene. Although the suspect was eventually taken into custody, officers believed he had tried to hide some evidence. One of K9 Echo’s certifications is searching for articles and evidence. He made quick work of locating this handgun that had been concealed in some tall grass and hedges. The suspect was arrested on charges of domestic assault, 2nd degree assault, and felon in possession of a firearm.
