We had a good weekend at the German Wirehaired Pointer Club of Wisconsin!

We had 3 generation of wins this weekend. Trudee went first in OGD, Vada(Trudees daughter) went first in the AGD, and Diesel(Vada son-owned and handled by Andre Xiong ) won the Derby! Super fun to see three generations doing well!

We are pleased to introduce Top Fuel's Dominator "Holley"!

Holley is the result of our latest breeding, combining the attributes of Woody and Pippa. She will be six months old next month. Holley displays a remarkable nose, impressive style, and intense bird-hunting ability. We anticipate a promising future for this talented female!

We wrapped up our spring field trial season and we placed every one of our competitive dogs! We competed at 5 different trials across 3 different states resulting in some pretty impressive numbers. Courtney let go of the collar 16 times and got around clean 13 times, resulting in 11 placements. To say we have consistent dogs would be accurate! Some weeks it was a grind, but the friendships amongst the field trial community really makes it all worth while. We value all our friends we've gotten to meet through these dogs and the game we love.

We loaded up the gang and made the haul down to the Vizsla Club of Illinois trial for our final event of the year. We had a lot of fun watching and running dogs, Trudee won the Open Limited Gun Dog with another 3 point major so she got her usual spot as queen of the LQ.

We loaded up and headed west to the Sheyenne National Grassland for the Wisconsin GWP trial. We entered Snowman and Leroy in the amature Gun Dog (only stake We could get into with time off restraints) and Leroy came out with a second place! Thank you to Tony Isajiw for scouting and the saddle (congrats on 1st place with Jack), thank you to the judges Dr Greg Dixon and Mr Andre Xiong for their time, and thank you to Purina for their continued support in this game.

We took the crew to the Portage grounds last weekend to pick up our new horse and they had a retrieving stake so we entered Snowman to run with Dan and April. Snowman got around clean, made the call backs and earned himself 3rd place! Thank you judges Kirk Loftin and Robert Salmone along with the Four Lakes gsp club. We had a great time reconnecting with lots of old friends we haven't seen in a long time and even made a few new ones.
