Hey all! Hope you’re all happy and healthy!! I’m still alive here in sunny and hot Arizona! I’ve been teaching middle school art full time and living life. Hey all! I need your help-I challenged my 7/8 kids to create unique “zombie hands” as a project to work on colored pencil techniques and value. I may have bribed them just a little by making it a little contest…here’s the catch. There are too many good ones!!! The prizes are for best craftsmanship and most creative.
Let me know which ones you think deserve to get the prizes!
(These are the ones I’ve chosen out of over 150 kids…I could have picked sooo many more though!)

Good morning all! I know I’ve been super quiet on here lately-I have reactivated my teaching cert and have been long term subbing at a local high school.
I so miss hosting classes and have decided to offer Barn Owl Summer Art classes and camps for kids here in New River, AZ. I’m currently designing some super fun projects and am trying to gauge local interest. For my far away friends I would love to offer to-go projects that would include all the instructions and supplies to create at home! Over the next week I will be posting classes and projects!

New party option at the barn!!! 👩🏼‍🎨🌈🎨 Staring Pearl the Mini Horse!! 🐴🦄 Pearl and I had a long talk the other day and she told me her spirit animal is a unicorn...so what could I do, but order her a special costume?!! We will be booking Unicorn Parties this spring! Included will be beautiful photos and snuggin’ time with a real live mini unicorn as well as a fun unicorn or fairy themed paint party! Hey everyone! As I’m prepping all of your projects for this weekend I wanted to give you a little peek into the process. Each piece is handmade here at the studio by me. All of the names and letters are hand scrolled (I wish the process was this fast😂). When you attend a class here or purchase a piece of my work you are supporting a local, woman owned small business...and for this I am so SO very thankful! Cheers and can’t wait to see you this weekend!! (Or for a class real soon!)
