❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ALEX ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We cannot believe Alex is still here- this ultimate lover survived near starvation and a tail amputation, never once losing her faith in people. She is pure sugar, an expert biscuit maker and will be all up in your business in the cutest way possible. Alex is about 9 years old and loves lounging, bird watching and belly rubs. What more could you ever want! Alex is quiet and calm and would like an owner who is the same. Alex has so much love to give and deserves to finally be in a home- she is one of our long-timers here. The only thing Alex asks is to be the only pet in the home- she does not like other cats or dogs. But who cares, because Alex is all you need.

Meet Anna!
Anna is a sweet and gentle diabetic 9 year old who is looking for a new life. Due to family changes, Anna has found herself all alone. Anna purrs non-stop and loves attention and scritches. She requires insulin shots twice a day and is an absolute breeze! Just seconds a day is all it takes to keep her healthy and happy. Anna is healthy with good blood sugar control, and a little plump which is nice for a diabetic cat. She will reward you with blinkies, rumbles and love ten-fold over!

Dilly update: ADOPTED!
Dilly came to us limping, after being found in a yard in Elmsford. Extensive exams and X-rays revealed that he suffered old fractures that healed improperly. We cannot even imagine such a young kitten suffering through that. He is only 3 months old. 😩
So now, Dilly just has a limp! He gets around perfectly fine and is not in pain at all, so no surgery needed! Dilly purrs nonstop and loves everyone he meets. He’s sweet, fun and happy!
To meet Dilly, please submit an application and call us to review: https://humanesocietyofwestchester.org/adopt-a-cat/
Today’s rescue!
This little bean was found with injuries to both front legs, one of which appears to be broken. He will be visiting our friends at New Rochelle Animal Hospital for X-rays and a treatment plan. Even with just one working leg, he does his best to make biscuits and purrs all the time. We have named this guy Dilly 🖤
Happy Friday — It’s been a week since Link found his forever family, who sent this Happy Tail:
“Hi All at New Rochelle Humane Society,
Thank you so much for letting us adopt Link! We’ve spent this week getting to know each other, and he is truly an amazing and wonderful dog! He loves playing ball and enjoys long walks. Such a sweet boy! Link is so special. Thank you again!”
Sometimes it may take a little longer to find love, but for Link & his family, this adoption was perfection!
Link had a wonderful support system during his time with us, with staff & volunteers taking great care of him!
A great big thank you to the private donor who sponsored Link’s adoption! Happy Life to Link & his wonderful family!

Today’s rescue!
This poor cat was abandoned outside of an apartment in New Rochelle. As you can see, she has been severely neglected, nearly starved, singed whiskers and over grooming (barbering) probably due to significant stress. Thank goodness she hasn’t lost her love and trust for humans, which is a true testament to her personality and resilience. Don’t worry, we will nurse this girl back to her original glory!
We’ve named this survivor, Kinky Boots.
Remember Mandy, the little kitten saved from near death? We’ll just look at her now! She is a miracle!
