This month, our Paws of Fame Star is...

MISTY

Misty is a longtime family friend of Pets On The Bay.
This beautiful girl visits us monthly and like most Shelti’s,
she really enjoys her spa day.

Shelti is short for Shetland Sheep Dog (think Lassie) and this breed is known to be smart, sensitive, loyal, and a great companion.
Misty is all of these!

Misty comes for her spa day while Mom lunches nearby.
During her visit this month, Misty got treated to our Shea Butter Shampoo & Condition to keep her beautiful Shelti coat soft and silky. Our February Paws of Fame Star also regularly gets our Teethbrushing Treatment to maintain her little valentine sparkle! So perfect during National Pet Dental Health Care month!

Like most of our furry babies, Misty is always so excited to see her Mommy for pick up…especially if she surprises her with a bag of Sweet Taters to take home!

We love you Misty and can’t wait to see you on your next spa day.

PICK FOUR

OOps! We missed a week, so in the last 2 weeks, we felt grateful for…

Annie…who was our very first client. On our first day open, Annie’s Mom was lined up outside our door ready to book an appointment! We feel so grateful for this sweet lil fourteen year old Westie. Annie pulls up in her stroller ready to be beautified. After her spa day, we golf cart her home. Annie just had surgery for a skin issue and we hear she’s healing wonderfully…you go girl!

Oliver…is one of our largest dogs. One of Emily’s fave to groom, he is a terrier mix and looks like a Great Wolfhound. The first day Oliver visited us it was raining and his parents had him dressed in a bright yellow raincoat…what a cutie! Oliver is kind of a rascal on the table and sometimes tries to jump but we have some trips up our sleeve and manage to distract him every time.

Gunner…is such a chill doggy and has the best personality. He comes to get groomed regularly because of his doodly coat. Even though his breed is prone to matting, his parents do a fab job brushing him regularly. Gunner is such a joy to have around the store and we appreciate his family prebooking his appointments!

Bella…is one of our Paws of Fame dogs. She loves her spa day and Mom books her monthly so we can care for her beautiful coat. Bella is a unique mix of breeds; part Portuguese Water Dog, English Cocker Spaniel, Braque d’Auvergne and Poodle. Love greeting this girl when she enters the salon.

Colby…one of the shyest Yorkies we pamper. His Mom likes his legs long so he looks like he’s wearing little fur boots. Colby’s sky coat tangles easily, so he needs monthly touch ups, but that means we get to see his cute little face lots…lucky us!

Lacy…is also a shy little girl. She is a long hair dachshund and her sweet face shows her bashfulness clearly. Because of a back injury, she needs extra special care during her grooms and Aleesha has just the right touch to help her feel safe and comfortable.

Joey…one of our newest pack members, is a spunky White Schnauzer. He has the typical breed eyebrows that give him such a cool expression. Joey is a friend of our PETS Mascot Daisy and they love seeing each other on the street during walks. The picture below is of Joey at home after his first spa day with us. I’m sure it was a snuggly Christmas with his family as they enjoyed his new cut!

Raleigh…is a gorgeous Doodle who has visited us for her monthly spa days for almost a year. Her Mom likes her to have our Shea Butter Treatment that nourishes her beautiful curly coat. She often comes with her doodle pack family members Rio and Roadie. When the three of these guys enter the room it's Oodles of Doodles!

Happy Monday Friends! Here's your weekly

PETS ON THE BAY

Last week, we felt grateful for…

Harper…this little puff of cuteness is a Mini Golden Doodle. She has been having puppy grooms with us for two months now. Doodle pups need regular baths and grooms to ensure their soft fluffy puppy coat doesn’t get matted. Harper is such a treat to groom, as is her kitty cat sibs Khloe and Thumper that also come to our spa.

Bob…is a tiny, but mighty, Yorkie who first visited us for a nail trim. His parents just happened to be walking by Pets On The Bay and decided to stop in. From then on, Bob won us over with his perky disposition and he came back for his first groom. Bob had a surgery when he was younger that required pins in his legs…but that doesn’t stop this little guy from zipping around. Apparently, when he lived up north he would chase any critter around his big back yard…Go Bob Go!

Romeo…is another tough lil Yorkie that has been through some hard knocks. Romeo has a medical condition that affects his pancreas. He’s been through quite a bit but back on the road to recovery. It was such a joy to see Romeo all cleaned up after having surgery only weeks before. He strutted out of Pets literally with his yorkie tail held high! What a sweet little man!

Beatrice and Irving… are beautiful litter mates that were rescued from a neighbor in our building. This feline duo were adopted just shortly after christmas…what a miracle for them and their new family. After their spa day, Beatrice and Irving got to be shuttled by golf cart to the building's back entrance and were escorted up the elevator and finally to their condo. Welcome to your new home kitties! We recently just saw their dad and its great to hear that they are settling in just fine.
