It was Magis first time riding a horse today! She did awesome. Roscoe was a good boy as always, ears back and listening to the rider. Working on heels down, toes up, how to turn, and also really establish the way of asking a horse to stop in order to build confidence. Wonderful! Good job guys!

It was Faiths first time ever taking a ride on Zena today! At first she was a little worried because Zena was so big, but over time she grew the confidence and began controlling this big mare beautifully!! That is the goal of Hidden Cove Ranch, giving kids the confidence to reach their dreams. 💓

Meet Zena D, the newest addition of Hidden Cove! Zena is an 18 year old KWPN (Dutch Warmblood) who has competed at the top levels in jumping. She has settled in beautifully. She loves people so much! She will follow anyone around and be their best friend! Excited for the future with this one. ❤️

Meet “Im Sweet No Doubt” aka Honey! She is on her way to being trained to ride. She stands 14.3h, and is a 4 year old turning 5 in April! Honey is what they call an Appendix, a mix of Thoroughbred and Quarter horse. She has the sweetest personality and wants to please all the time. Honey has been at Hidden Cove since April of 2022. She can’t wait to meet you all!

Meet Roscoe! Roscoe is an 11 year old Percheron/Morgan cross. He stands 14.3h, so he is classified as a pony. He was originally aquired at an Amish auction, and is trained totally Amish. He is a wonderful, safe riding horse! For the more experienced, he will pick it up only if you ask him to. For the less experienced, he will go slow! For the Amish he was their car, and has pulled all types of buggies. He has been on state roads with carts in Ohio. This guy has done it all, and he has been at Hidden Cove since May of 2020. Roscoe is one of the lesson horses!
