Silver Sands Bridle Club

SSBC is a membership organization with emphasis on showing horses. Currently SSBC has 300+ members in Volusia and surrounding counties.

Silver Sands Bridle Club Inc., was Formed in 1948 and was originally known as the Volusia County Quarter Running Horse Association. The predominant interest lies in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Dressage, Hunter Jumper and Barrel Racing Shows, which are held monthly. SSBC meets the last Monday of each month except for May and December. The public is invited to attend these meetings. The faci

lity includes a covered 250' by 120' arena with 100 stalls and two outdoor riding arenas, round pen, ample parking, and 26 electrical hookups. The facility is available for rental to other horse clubs or horse related groups.

Come on out tomorrow and watch some fun jumping and eat some great BBQ from Smoke Rings BBQ!! Don’t forget about dessert and those morning coffee floats from Wild Thorne Dairy! EQUESTRIENNE DECOR will be set up under the cover arena for your shopping pleasure!!! Horse, BBQ, ice cream and shopping, what better way to spend a Saturday!! Show starts at 9. Bring a chair and, as always, there’s no admission fee for spectators!!

Just Jumpers #4 is this Saturday, August 24, starting at 9am!! Entries will be taken until noon 🕛 tomorrow, Friday, August 23.

For those coming in Friday, the office will be open 5-7 pm. Office will be open 7am on Saturday. If you need to make other arrangements, please contact Bonnie.

While it hasn’t rained in a while, there’s a horse show this weekend so it’s started!! Please back your trailers in, do not drive around through the grass. If you get stuck you will have to call a tow truck. The old SSBC tractors cannot pull you out.

The class count and A, B and C courses will be posted after entries close on Friday.

Course🚶‍♀️walking may be done from 5-7pm Friday and from 7:00-8:55am Saturday morning and during jump height changes.

Smoke Rings BBQ and Wild Thorne Dairy will be there Saturday! Make sure to stop by and get some good eats!! EQUESTRIENNE DECOR will be set up under the covered arena too!!

You can ADD a class at any time, at the gate or the office.

If you are dropping a class you entered, you MUST DROP while the division before is running and PRIOR TO THE JUMP CHANGE, otherwise you will still be charged.

For Jackpot 🎰 classes, if your entry is paid, any winnings will be paid in 💵cash. If you have left an open check, any winnings will be deducted from your entry total.

Dressage whips are not permitted. All riders must have a number and have signed a waiver!

SSBC does not provide shavings. Please bring your own if you rented a stall.

If you are bringing a 🐶, please keep it on a leash at ALL times!

As always, the show is open to the public, free of charge. Bring a chair!!

50/50 raffle will be going on at our august 24th jumper show to benefit the junior board! Here are the show bill, entry and waiver. Don’t forget it is one week away, we are so excited to see everyone after the summer off‼️

The next English & Western Pleasure show is right around the corner, June 4th & 5th. As always, we rely on our members to volunteer to keep these shows going! Come help and have some fun!

Trail is well underway here on day 2 of our first pleasure show of 2022!! Even with the not so beautiful weather we’ve got a great turn out this show!!!
