NEED A BARN CAT?
We have cats that would make great barn cats. We haven’t been able to socialize them which means they can’t go on the main adoption floor. They CAN go home with you as a barn cat. You do need to be able to keep them confined (like this) for 30 days. That is the magic number of days. If you release them before 30 days, they will try to find their way back to shelter. After 30 days, they will think your barn is where they live 🩷

SOFTEST BELLY AWARD goes to 3 year old Princess!!!! I can’t stress enough just how friendly, sweet and lovable this girl is. She craves attention and gives back as much as she receives. Not kidding about that soft belly, it’s amazing and she’s more than happy to let you rub it whenever you want 🤣🤣. Princess is dog selective (as most dogs are) and she isn’t a fan of kitties but boy does she love people and would make a fantastic companion. She enjoys going for walks and LOVES TREATS! Princess would also be great for an active family as she has a fair amount of energy. We definitely think she should have a fenced in yard for her zoomies 🩷. Southeast Volusia Humane Society 1200 S.
