RAIN & HER POSSE
Dear Potential Adopter,
My name is Rain I am a 14 month old spayed female Lab mix. I am even cuter in person.
I just spent a few days at a really fun foster home to get out of the cold. They have 4 other dogs (all rescues like me). Two are Great Pyrenees and two Shih Tzu’s. We all got along really well. If fact one of the GP and I became best friends. We played all day (inside, outside and on the lanai). When i finally wore out, I would pass out with my head on one of my foster moms laps. I’m 44 pounds right now. I have a little more growing to do, but not much.
I am still a puppy so I did have a couple of accidents in the house. It was mostly because I was busy playing with the other dogs, otherwise I did really good going potty outside.
I ate well, not food aggressive at all. I’m not a barker… oh boy, the 4 dogs I fostered with sure do bark a lot but don’t worry they didn’t teach me any naughty habits!
I know “Sit” but need work on other commands. I will come when you call my name (if I’m not distracted) I also fetch and can shake if I’m in the mood.
My foster mom
let me sleep in the bed with her and my new big friends. It was warm and cozy and I liked sleeping under the covers!
Now here is the most important thing about me. When I first meet you, I will be VERY nervous. I will cower away and tuck my tail between my legs. Once I get to know you, I will give you lots of snuggles and kisses if you let me. I love affection and attention.
I don’t like brooms or mops. So if I cower away from you on cleaning day it might be from something that scared me in my past.
When I go for walks I don’t like to stop to meet new people. I am very shy. I think with time and socialization I will get more confident with new people.
Other than that, all I can say is PICK ME…PICK ME!!!!
Would love to go to a home with other dogs.
Your new best friend,
Rain

Wait for it….. who is that handsome tiger all snuggled up under his bed? It’s ALAKAY!!!!!! He is 6 yeas old and is a sweet guy that was surrendered with his friend Floof. He was taken very good care
Of but his mom found herself homeless and had to make the difficult decision to surrender her babies. But they are safe with us and we know they will find great homes. They can be adopted separate but it would be amazing if they go together.
