The weekend flew by while we went to Keystone Barrel Classic Saturday and Sunday!

Ryan got to make her first run at a show on Banty, they unfortunately knocked, but overall she did a good job!

Ended the season on a good note for everyone! Lots of progress has been made and I am very proud to have these girls be part of my program. The future is very bright for all of them!

On Saturday we had a little fun show at home! Did an obstacle course, pumpkin drop, barrel dash, cloverleaf barrels and dollar no stirrups!
Later on Karaline and I headed to Lorah’s Rodeo where we placed 4th and 6th!

Cold, rainy day at Keystone Barrel Classic yesterday, but it was worth going.
Proud of these 3 for the runs they made yesterday not having been to Keystone since last year and Gab never running there!

Little late on the post, but two weekends ago we went to the Farm, Home and Youth Foundation Buckle series show

Kachina-Open 4D 1st and Middle 3D 1st
Briar and Karaline-Open 4D 2nd and Youth 3D 1st
Magic and Ky-Youth 3D 3rd
Preacher and Skyler made a nice run, but unfortunately knocked
Banty and Gab also made a nice run, but knocked as well
Blondie went along for some exhibitions

Our show season is winding down, but we are still hard at work to keep improving. Thank you Return to Rhythm LLC for being a crucial part in our program keeping these hard working horse’s comfortable!

Last Buckle Bonanza series show at Plainfield Riding Club was this past Saturday. We still have some shows left yet for the season though!

Hot day at the E.P.G.A. show this past Saturday, but it was a successful one! Everybody got a ribbon or won money! Blondie came along and did a nice pole exhibition.

Plainfield Riding Club Buckle Bonanza last Sunday went decently well.
Open Division:
Preacher- 2D 2nd
Youth Division:
Ky and Magic- 3D 1st(First division win, way to go!)
Middle Division:
Kachina- 2D 2nd
Banty- 3D 1st(Gab had some trouble in youth barrels so I took him back in to correct him)
Poles were no times for Gab and Ky, back to practicing
Return to Rhythm LLC magnawaves most of these horses every week to help them recover from regular work and to prep them for shows. It is part of my routine and will continue to be as I do believe it really helps the horses and they enjoy it. Thank you!

We had a fun day last Saturday at the E.P.G.A. Show at Plainfield riding club!
-Karaline and Briar had some trouble during poles, but came back to be second in youth barrels
-Skyler attended her first ever gymkhana show and did great getting a third in barrel dash and fourth in trophy barrels
-I took Blondie along to see the sights and do some exhibitions. There was a very scary banner in the ring, but overall she was very good

🌟ADORABLE BUCKSKIN ALERT🌟on consignment
“Honey”, around 12 years old grade quarter horse mare, right at 14 hands. Very sweet mare, slightly head shy if you move too quick, but won’t hurt a fly. Was hard to catch when she first got here, but has gotten much better. She stands for farrier, to be brushed, saddled and mounted. She is advanced beginner safe for walk/trot. She isn’t super consistent cantering so I would say experienced youth suitable for walk/trot/canter. She moves off your leg very nice. She will trail ride or ride around the ring. She is a little fussy in the bridle right now as she was used for beginner lessons by owner and had the winter off. I have videos, please pm for them

Saturday was the awards banquet for Plainfield Riding Club. Congratulations to all the award winners! And thank you to the club for putting on such a nice banquet!
-Karaline and Briar took home the Open 4D Buckle and the second place halter for Youth 2D
-Lanie and Briar took home the third place jacket in Peewee 3D
-Kachina and I took home the third place jacket in Middle 2D

Yesterday we went to the E.P.G.A. Fall fun show at Edgewood valley farms.
-Karaline and Briar were the sweetest costume! They also won the 2D in jackpot barrels, second in the barrel dash and first in youth cloverleaf barrels! -Ky and Magic won youth poles, were second in youth cloverleaf barrels and third in the barrel dash!
-Gab and Banty took 4th in youth barrels!
-Alyssa and Banty took 4th in Adult poles!
Proud of the work you have all put in to better yourselves! Keep going girls!

On Saturday we had our own little fun show! Pole bending, egg and spoon races, cloverleaf barrels and drop the ball in the bucket were played! Congratulations to Karaline for being the average winner!

Also, congratulations to Karaline and Briar for winning the Open 4D Buckle from Plainfield Riding Club’s Buckle Bonanza series and also placing second in the Youth 2D!
Kachina and I placed third in the Middle 2D!
Lanie also captured third in the Peewee 3D!

Karaline and Ky got to run in their first rodeo last night!
Proud of both girls for going out there and conquering their first rodeo! Ky had a little spill at the end of her run, but she is okay. On to the next!

Last night we went to the Bye Bye Summer barrel bash #2 at Crane Arena
-Karaline and Briar brought home second in the 3D youth improving their time from last show!
-Ky and Magic had a clean run in the youth and glow barrels!
-Gabby and Banty cantered the pattern for the first time at a show and did well!
-Kachina and I took the Open 3D win with a nice cruise through!
Proud of everybody last night!

Last night we ventured out to the Bye-Bye Summer Barrel Bash at Crane Thoroughbreds
-Karaline and Briar placed second in the Youth 2D and had a nice run in Glow Barrels!
-Ky and Magic had a nice run landing in the youth 3D and also did well in Glow Barrels!
-Gabby and Banty are getting better and better each show, conquering glow barrels as well!
-Kachina made a very nice run for me landing in the middle of the 2D open!

Gabby and Alyssa went to their first show this past Saturday, EPGA at Edgewood, along with Karaline and Ky. Everybody had a great time!
-Karaline and Briar swept the entire Jackpot Pole class bringing home the money from all 3 divisions! They also were second in youth barrels!
-Ky and Magic have been making improvements collecting their first time in Poles and two nice barrel runs placing 5th and 6th
-Gabby at her first show did awesome, completing a pole and barrel run on a ranch horse that’s never been to a gymkhana show!
-Alyssa borrowed Chamberlain for her first show winning the Barrel Dash and placing third in the trophy division barrels!
All in all it was a good day! Proud of each one of you!

Last Saturday we went to Plainfield Riding Club’s third buckle bonanza show. Thank you to everyone who made the show possible!

Karaline and Briar had two very nice, consistent runs placing 4th, one spot out of the money, in the youth 2D. Very proud of how this team is coming along!
Ky and Magic have been working hard through a little bumpy patch getting better each run! Proud of Ky’s determination to work through anything thrown at her.
Kachina made a nice run for me with a little slip on the backside of the second barrel

On to Keystone barrel classic Sunday. And then the Lebanon Rodeo Monday night!

Saturday we went to the E.P.G.A show that was held at Plainfield Riding Club. I took Prize along to exhibition and see the sights, she was very good!
Karaline and Briar took third in youth poles and barrels, and ran a very nice pattern to be second in jackpot barrels!
Ky and Magic went in working for their barrel pattern, but ended up knocking the second. Came back in for their jackpot run with a little struggle at the first, but pushed through it to come out with a clean run.
Overall it was a good day!
Thanks to Return to Rhythm LLC for all the hours she spends working on these horses, takes a team to make all this happen!

Little late on the post, I was waiting for a picture from the show, but two weekends ago we went to Plainfield Riding Clubs Buckle Bonanza. Kachina made a nice run for me for her first time out for the season! Karaline and Briar also had a very nice run. Ky and Magic had a little trouble, but have been working hard to fix that. Maiden voyage with the new trailer went well, looking forward to this weekend’s show at Plainfield again!
