Behavior observations. Rainbow's routine has been interrupted and he's attacking me again. When Kory moved in, Rainbow flew over to his cage. This worried me as I've seen how much damage one parrot can do to another. So I haven't been letting Rainbow out in the evenings as usual. I'll move Kory further away from Rainbow and let Rainbow out in the evenings as before. Some birds really love routines.

Well, Jack is breaking the bars off his cage. It is not the right cage for a U2. Parrot Island has a stainless steel cage available. But I don't have the details on it. I feel a trip to the cities coming up so I can check it out.

Kory spent a full day with the rest of the flock yesterday. Rainbow is very curious about this new guy. Kory joined in with eating dinner with everyone last evening. He is nervous when I walk by his cage. He will discover that every time I pass by doesn't mean I'm going to interact with him.

On Friday I will be heading out to Parrot Island to pick up a cage for Kory, so he can move out of quarantine. I should take the Element and hope she makes it there and back.

Kory's 4 disease tests came back negative. He's still staying in quarantine a bit longer. Yesterday he got some time out of the cage to fly around for a couple hours. He likes to make eye contact, but he's not about to step up. I had to get THE NET.

Kory has been playing with his toys. He has also been watching Parrot television. Yesterday I sat with him in quarantine while I watched the Lafeber webinar. He was curious, so I showed him the screen from time to time.

Thanks to Korene, Chris, and Shirley the Hanska Indian Ringneck is no longer out in the cold. He will be going to Dr. Plantz as soon as possible for health check and disease testing. He's chilling in quarantine right now. He is amazingly calm.
